Ya'll Nibbiars The HTT 40, The The Cabinet Committee on Security has cleared the acquisition of 70 Hindustan Turbo Trainer-40 for the IAF at a cost of around Rs 6,800 crore. The HTT-40 will be the basic trainer aircraft for first time pilots at the Air Force Academy.

That dude is also affiliated with Battle Axes, which is one of the best Indian DCS content makers that I've seen. They're fairly realistic in operation, too

Ya'll Nibbiars The ‘First Supersonics’ are sixty! No. 28 Sqn celebrates its diamond jubilee. One of the most storied IAF units, first to induct the MiG-21 in 1963, and took it to war with outstanding results in 1971. The Photographs from a range dett when they were still on legacy Fulcrums.

Ya'll Nibbiars Do you knew that the MIG 29 Trainers don't have a radar, through they have a IRST.

Recent news of the IAF expressing interest on the IA.63 "Pampa" trainer, could lead to something...or nah.
It isn't recent news AFAIK. The IAF had at one time sent out a Request for Info on an Intermediate Trainer requirement. This was when the HJT-36 program had stalled completely in 2016 thanks to issues that came up during stall testing. It required serious re-design which delayed the program and for a while it appeared that the HJT-36 program was as good as dead.

That's when the IAF's RFI went out to a few manufacturers including Alenia for it's M-345 and IA for the Pampa III

This RFI no longer is relevant and the HJT-36 has completed the 6 turn spin trials on both right and left sides successfully.
