IAF in #PitchBlack2018


#PitchBlack2018 : Indian Air Force sets course for International Exercise Pitch Black 2018, today. Pitch Black is a biennial, 3 week, multi-national exercise conducted at RAAF Base Darwin & RAAF Base Tindal, Australia. Exercise will be held from 24 Jul-18 Aug18. IAF is participating with aircraft in this exercise for the 1st time. IAF's team consists of 145 air-warriors, with 4xSu-30MKI, 1xC-130, 1xC-17, GarudCommandos & observers with diverse specialisations.

Not conclusive though, let's see what the court of Inquiry will find out.

It is conclusive he is dead and the plane he was flying should have been decommissioned years ago. I doubt anyone cares about the aircraft lost but his life and training were worth far more. The amount of hours required to train a Wing Commander is worth tens of millions and his vast experience makes it less likely to be pilot error but maintenance related.

The cause of the crash is inconclusive, which means you can't rule out human error, bird strikes, or technical problems of the fighter at this point.

He was a Wing Commander, it is safe to rule out human error, bird strike maybe, technical problems most likely.
