Really? Are you sure?

1. Chinese and Russian already settled their borders in the signed treaty. In other words, in Chinese official stance, Vladivostok is a Russian city.
2. Why does Chinese want Vladivostok which basically brings no strategic value to China?

That is simply a western propaganda piece shit.

Russian has been expanding her nuclear cooperation with China for decades:
They provided certain nuclear weapon simulation technologies to China;
They are selling nuclear materials to China;
They are working with Chinese on both countries' national missile defense system;
More importantly, both sides have been informing each other the training, deployment and all other activities of nuclear forces.
And don't forget, in West Pacific, there is plenty of US military bases and forces, neither Russia, nor China has spare nuclear warheads or missiles to target each other.

Certainly, both sides have each other's targets in their database, all those missiles can be quickly re-directed towards new targets. But that is a standard protocol of a nuclear power country. Don't be surprise that Russian also has Indian targets in their database.
Traditionally, China has territorial ambitions in Siberia and Central Asia since always. They're just of lesser geopolitical importance from a modern point of view. Russians know it and keep a wary eye on this.
Russians know the Chinese are yearning for this region with an area of 1/3 the size of India.

See the look of other journalists' faces!!! HA HA HA HA!!!! :pound: :pound: :pound:

They know that the hijab wearing female journalist is full of shit.
this falls in this category of "shoot from someone else's shoulder".

it's a common tactic for leftist activists to shoot from someone else's shoulder. when the response comes, that "someone" takes the hit and the leftist activist moves on to some other "someone".

-USCIRF shoots at Bharat from U.S Gov's shoulder,
-Kanniyah lal first took shots from JNU's shoulder, now moved on to using congress's shoulder,
-Kunal Kamra takes his shots resting on stand up comedy's shoulder,

-this nadav lapid fired his shots from IFFI's and israel's shoulder.

when response comes, US Gov, JNU, congress, standup scene, IFFI, Israel takes most of the impact. the left activist remains relatively unscathed to move on to their next target and the next shoulder. repeats the cycle.

i have been pondering for some time on which lobby is throwing muck at us the most, for now the two main lobbies are islamist lobby(first order effect) and the pro-china lobby(second order effect). infact i won't be surprised if we find out later that soros and his empire is a second order effect of pro-china lobby, every thing his group says and does has a benefit for china. climate change, democracy in danger, gender politics etc. themes promote instability and punishes merit in the targeted society, there by keeps leadership of competitors of china busy, which gives space for china to continue with their expansion of "comprehensive national power" program.

second order effect in this case is that they won't openly state as many times that they are pro-china, but their actions benefit china indirectly.

although people are more amenable for opinions and suggestions from the Western liberal order countries rather than the Chinese and other spheres, we must shore up and build up mental defences against suggestions and criticism from them.

Our people on the whole have an easier time hating china and others rather than the western liberal global homogenoety order. we must build up our narrative defenses through various means like general atrocity literature and disillusionment by highlighting and amplifying the degeneracy and absurd laws on the streets of the west - mostly to the average uncle and aunty. we need our young generation making fun of their absurd secular religious deities like diversity, equity, equality, and inclusion as they are usually the battering rams they use and they are not good secular gods to worship if we want to develop our national comprehensive power.

it's not just us, even murica is being targeted. all consequential democracies of the world are a target.

India needs to up its game in engaging bilaterally with Russia then. They are holding off China for now but they cannot hold it off forever. If we keep worrying about a snowflake-like Garcetti and his masters in Washington, we will never be able to punch worthy of our weight. The pathetic mentality of Indian exporters who are not exporting to Russia sickens me. How hard is it for them to create shell companies and export more? What are they concerned with? Trade and money? or these useless geopolitical gimmicks? There are several ways to create nested shell companies with the government's blessings.

They are doing it at some pace but just not enough. We can't keep worrying about the US eternally. If they want to sanction us, they will sanction us even when we don't give them a reason. They need us which is why they are letting us even breathe. The faster our government gets this basic understanding in their heads, the better.

There is this professor called Happymon Jacob in JNU who has been peddling all sorts of Liberal nonsense when it comes to India-China-Russia-US geopolitical equation. He is usually balanced in his assessments but is just not so in this particular scenario, giving way too much credit to the liberal hawks, as if their trading with us is a one-way favour.

Also a clarification on his much publicised article ( ...bad bet on India) that he didn't pick the tittle and he doesn't think that its accurate .

Jyothi Malhotra did everything to get Ashley Tellis to say something negative about India, about Modi...got a masterclass in how to not fall into a trap. She baited him to say that Chinese were inside India, referred to human rights, freedom to dissent, even brought up the earlier ban on Modi in a pretty desperate attempt but Mr.Tellis disappointed her by giving her nothing, not even a fig leaf.

ashley's intentions won't matter, even though his piece rides on thin line available that's agreeable to all sides on India issue in DC.
other than a handful people in DC, most will consider it as message received going by the headline.
foreign affairs magazine is mouth piece for council of foreign affairs.

I wonder whether we have any capability to reverse-engineer this thing. Can it be done?
Reverse-engineering a major US platform would require political will of the highest order, not to mention it would destroy bilateral relations at a crucial time.

That said, I'm not sure if it's even necessary to do so. If I'm not wrong, the deal includes licensed production of several MQ9 components here (which should give local companies production-engineering know how) plus there's some speculation that US could assist in the indigenous HALE TP project:

ADE & AFRL are already working on the ALUAV joint venture project so there's precedent to expand that type of cooperation. We need ISR capability badly and ADE on it's own hasn't been able to deliver squat.
