LOL Indian navy is more badass than IAF. If this happened in reality We would have roasted paki navy which they would have taken decades to recover. Pakis are coming up with new scrpits to salvage asses which they got beaten heavily. Indian navy army Airforce never hide any loses or mishaps or accidents from citizens let alone these type of attacks. Funny thing is India would have finished Pak navy and Karachi port would have experienced another burning for days like in 1971

The joint press conference of the armed forces clearly acknowledged that Indian military installations were targeted.
Below is the quote:

It is surgical - means it is directed at a very specific military target to destroy , kill, incapacitate, capture or eliminate it. All collateral damages are avoided.Secondly, it quick and precise, the scissor cuts the specific and is quickly withdrawn. Other parts or surroundings are not harmed. It also signify the urgency and quickness of the cut. As the surgery normally involves cutting some inner portion, surgical strikes are generally deeper inside enemy territory.

Second aspect - Strike signifies its speed, suddenness, fierceness and completeness of destructive / separative cut.

Surgical strikes are thus potent and sudden military action carried out deeper inside enemy territory against a specific military target to gain desired objective.
