Those fortresses in Pakistan were much older ones from Mughal/later-Mughal era. They won't stand a chance before the British breech loaded high-velocity cannons of that time.

He even raised cuirassier cavalry, who wore imported breastplate instead of char aina which couldn't deflect bullets.
