Only the two Anglo-Sikh wars between 1845-49 in modern Pakistan's Punjab area.

Those fortresses in Pakistan were much older ones from Mughal/later-Mughal era. They won't stand a chance before the British breech loaded high-velocity cannons of that time.

Raja Lal Singh, effectively India's last sovereign ruler, dressed in imported European harness that was not used anymore in the West for atleast a century, but could stop pistol rounds!
He even raised cuirassier cavalry, who wore imported breastplate instead of char aina which couldn't deflect bullets.
Bhai mere!!! Let him answer.......

Objection. Before '47 it is Indian history.
Pak in its entirety existed only from '47 - '71. Not even 25 yrs.
Wat we see now is remnants of a failed theory.
Hence no use of u asking him again and again something which he doesn't care abt.
Vadini vadiley guru.

U know wat, they have an archaeological dept ONLY coz they have some Kaafir historical sites which can earn them some quick bucks frm tourist goras.

I had asked a question some days back, repeating it again!!!

Since there is so many old forts in current day Pakistan, how many wars were fought against the British from the area which is current day Pakistan?
The area was under sikh empire, and most battles were fought in punjab between sikh empire and british,so some forts in pak punjab may have seen action.

Not if it was before 1947 he won't... :daru:

I doubt how much they teach about Sikh Empire in Paki schools! Religious demography of the Sikh Empire was Muslim(74%), Sikh(3%), Hindu(23%).
No they don't teach history of Sikh Empire in schools. Only Geography 101. Earth is a flat onion Dosa.
Ain't it @Arsalan123? Now don't tell me u know abt Sikh Gurus and Sikh military campaigns.[emoji23]

Sometimes I wonder whether there is any diplomatic/political rationale in the state of Pakistan
While answering your questions , it will be very difficult to put it down in writing. However I shall try.

Diplomatic / Political Rationale of Pakistan - To have a political entity separate and independent of India in geographical areas adjoining Afghanistan to provide access to Great Western Capitalist powers into Afghanistan and Central Asia and deny those areas to Soviet Union and India. Protect Eastern flank of Persian / Arabian oil region (that time controlled by England).

or they're so driven by the Na-Pak-istan army's ego and false propaganda that there is no National narrative.
Pakistan Army was nurtured as a political and administrative agency / tool of governance and control by Western powers, then USA and then China as a matter of convenience. It was the most accessible and easy monolithic tool to be used in weak countries post de-colonisation (like Indonesia, Burma, Egypt, Malaisia, African countries)

Each nation tries to define its identity much like an individual defines his/her personality.... In the case of Pakistan it will always be the Army and never the civil society. I feel bad for them and as Pradhan Mantri said leave it be coz it's going to die it's own death.
Identity. The identity of Pakistan had been well defined by Muslim League led by Jinha and approved by the English lords - Separate Nation for the Muslims of the subcontinent called India based on two nation theory (inability of Hindus and Muslims to co exist as one entity). Thus Islamic Fundamentalism became the fundamental identity of Pakistan. Islam of a hue as propagated by Darul ul Ulum, Deoband (Saharanpur) by Maulana Maududi which believes in complete Islamisation of Indian subcontinent.

Due to this Pakistan also unsuccessfully tried to assume the role of leadership of the Muslim world specially after acquiring nuclear capability. Now it is trying to assume that role by becoming epicenter of Islamic terrorism.

Turning Point. Almost complete control of Pakistan by China is going to create problems for Pakistan as Western, Russian and Chinese interests are bound to clash there. All will try to control her and help her which is going to create problems for rising India.

It is Pakis who upped the ante when they tried to target our military installations ,they will pay the toll, armed forces will make sure the toll is so heavy that the charade of propaganda they built to have a sembelence of respect from their citizens after loosing a substantial territory will only get curses of disappointment from their aam abduls ,the fatigue is showing in the enemy, most of enemy's naval Force is already exhausted ,the exhaustion & frustration will surely reach the momins very soon.

Pakis have "completely" lost "it" .

Btw.. pakis will come in all shapes and sizes including sane versions...to get acceptance and promote propaganda from ISPR.
