The thang is we ignored Nepal's transition into Democracy, the revolution itself wasn't flawed but the execution was. It was Manmohan at helm back in the day so he couldn't give much of a damn about it. From the very beginning we should have monitored all the Parties and vested interest involved in the revolution and stimulate the transition into a India favored result. We should have a permeant organization that monitors and research Neighboring countries in political, cultural and economical sphere, kind of a war room where we deal with any anti Indian element that spring up from time to time.

But for that to happen the lazy babus must be grilled.

The purpose of having foreign language and studies in our college was to serve this purpose, but looking at it now it houses worst of the commies of our generation.
why would u have African studies as a subject when they don't contribute anything to betterment of India-Africa relation.
There was absolutely no need for us to have gotten involved with this obsessive transition into a democracy. Under the UPA regime, India conducted the worst of her foreign policies vis-a-vis her neighbours:
  1. Cowered down in front of China like never before, despite an equally weak (at least perceived) government under Hu Jintao; added to China's salami-slicing gains of our territory then.
  2. Not once retaliated to the Pakistani cross-border firing or terrorist attacks. While the whole world braced for India to retaliate after 26/11 Manmohan & Sonia Co. sent a 10k-page dossier to Pakistan that their generals used to wipe their rears
  3. Nepal under King Birendra and later King Gyanendra was a Hindu kingdom and preferred India over China; but Sonia's obsessive hate for anything Dharmic, resulted in our meddling with Nepal's government system, therefore permanently damaging our image in the minds of Nepalis and bringing the Communists to power. Prachanda was the result of Congress' meddling
  4. Allowed Maldivian strongman Yameen to take control of the islands while bullying Indian companies out of Maldives
  5. Left Bhutan naked in the snow, compelling them to start seeing rapprochement with China as the only way to avoid territorial losses.
  6. Completely ignored Rajapakse's killing off our fishermen despite (doesn't happen any more now does it?)
  7. Despite the proactive overtures of Afghan Hamid Karzai administration to jointly deal with Pakistan, refusal to even talk tough with Islamabad, let alone act tough
  8. Giving so much leeway that even Myanmar's troops entered into Moreh and started claiming adjoining villages.
Thankfully things have changed now. But a lot needs to be done to restore Nepali confidence.

First of all, we need to maintain an arm's length of 'tough love' with them. That means we will have to call a spade as a spade and call out the Communist regime as an extension of CCP in China. Without calling it tough, we would be missing the "hot" element of the terminology known as "blowing hot and cold".

Secondly, we to get the Rashtriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) into confidence. They are the only ones that are somewhat similar to BJP and would understand our narrative and reason for them. They are also the only party that is meaningfully opposing the Chinese land grab in Nepal that happened recently. RPP might have been in an uneasy coalition with the Communists, but they are ideologically strong and want the Hindu national status restored in Nepal. Commies hate their guts.

Thirdly, we need to delegitimize the Indian Congress' puppet, the Nepali Congress in Nepal. That party has been doing our Congress-style demonstrations with no effect with no real force. That's because NC is also under heavy favours from China. They won't fully oppose the land-grab to a point that Nepali people wake up and force their government to turn around.

Fourthly, we need to start speaking to their military generals. While the communists hold the government for ransom, their military commanders have some level of independence and despite numerous attempts, are not fully replaced with Red caders yet.

And last but not least, We need to start engaging with Nepali people through social media, through campaigns about what Modi's India is and how Hindu nationalist India thinks in favour of a Hindu nationalist Nepal.

Without invoking our cultural commonness, we cannot form a favourable opinion in the minds of Nepalis. The Church-Islamist "liberal secular" narrative is only going to make us lose our edge in the region.

India needs to move far away from the liberal-secular narrative, both in terms of internal politics as well as foreign policy.

Look at this:

Can Nepal's Arm be a threat to its democracy?

While it is written by a local, the narrative is very much along the lines of what the USA writes through its network of NGOs and missionaries. The Church, sponsored by CIA and other clandestine US and European government agencies, has been running rampant in Nepal since the devastating earthquakes a few years ago and trying to alter its demography in favour of becoming another Philippines.

The USA has already entered the battle through its Churches and NGOs in Nepal while, we the Dharmic homeland, are sitting doing only social work with them, despite having all the cultural advantages. It is using its religion in the guise of "religious piety and material generosity" to harvest the souls of Nepalis, while we are doing nothing to counter their narrative.

________________________________________

If the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) had a shred of strategic thought in their minds, they would have started engaging the RPP and the other sanghas of sadhus and Buddhist lamas in Nepal.

We cannot afford to let Nepal become China's autonomous region or another Philippines under the CIA-Church deep state nexus of the United States.

Nepal has to remain at the very best, a free Dharmic country, if not a part of our country.

The congress was in good relations with our communist. Raw did exactly what was told to them. It was a mistake and we should not have let that happen. Besides that ship has sailed . Danger will always be there . Have you ever wonder why usa who preach democracy , secularism and blah blah blah , never actually toppled lets say saudi arab ? Because its easier to maintain relations that way. It was a mistake which is costing us dearly now
Congress was not in good relations with anyone. While Sonia Gandhi thought that supporting Maoists against the Hindu royalty would win her the favour of CPI at home, it did nothing. On top of it, her Vatican masters benefitted by removing the Hindu-Dharmic narrative of the country and turning it into another Dharmophobic secular cesspit like our country under the erstwhile Congress regime.

Out of the many countries in our immediate neighborhood Nepal has a special place. Its a mirror image of India, both demographicically and politically. There has been an explosive growth of Mzlmz in the India - Nepal border on the both sides. Probably the Muzzies want to create an autonomous buffer region around the Indo- Nepal border which could become a new headache/ immigrant crisis for countries should any country decides to drive them out. There should be a dedicated thread to discuss Izlamic extremism in Nepal.

As secularism is enshrined in the Nepali constitution, one might argue that attempting to exploit religious sentiments for political advantage wouldn’t benefit leaders who endorsed the statute. But an increasing interest of Nepali politicians in religious activities has led analysts to speculate that Hindu nationalism might become a major plank in the November elections.

There’s already a key constituency in Nepal which wants to revert the country to a Hindu state. There’s the Rastriya Prajatantra Party that openly advocates the idea of reinstating monarchy in the country.

Pushpa Kamal Dahal, the chair of the CPN (Maoist Centre), is not far behind in forging party relations with the BJP either. On July 15, Dahal visited India at the invitation of BJP President JP Nadda.

I recently met a group of Nepalese friends and future doesn't look good for the country. One of them was a high ranking official from the Nepal s National Bank equivalent to our RBI.
The feedback I got from them is that people are highly corrupt over there. Corruption in every walk of the Govt is rampant. There is little or no industrial or major agri growth and economy is dependent on agriculture or tourism. There are few social / govt support schemes and no welfare or economic help is given to the poor the way it's given in India.
People are highly religious though and Hinduism is the one thing that connects both countries. They have huge faith in Hindu religion and culturally Nepal is identical to India. Infact I had trouble identifying some people as they looked as if coming from U.P or Bihar.
They are aware China is making inroads but they don't like them and know that China is able to go in through corruption. They have good liking for India and I sincerely hope India and Nepal unite into one country in few decades from now.
