Not surprising. Chinese and others are going for the complete package. Its just India, who have gone for customized package.
whats the difference between them ?
S-400 is comprised of 4 different missiles for different range.
40N6 for 400 km
48N6 for 250 km
9M96E2 for 120 km and
9M96E for 40 km range.
Now instaed of all the 4 missiles, India has opted to go only with 40N6 and 48N6.

That's because we have short range missiles like Barak er, akash, akash ngn g,a spyder all of these will be integrated to form a better system than chinese ones... Indian system can be dubbed as S-450 as it has elements from S-500.. it's also upgradeable to S-500 and has limited ABM capabilities....

Well Russia will sell it to anyone who can give them the money. Be it China, Turkey or India. Same is the case of USA, UK, France etc.

GSP has minimal impact on our trade... muricans are trying to pressure us not to go for data localisation laws.
i'd say data localisation is more important than GSP. Data is the new oil....

GSP is for countries with very low per capita income. Iirc 1000$ or 1500$ is limit. We are already beyond that .so technically we stopped qualifying for it long ago. This is not a major issue. Visa and other trade issue are far more important.
