Wanna know an interesting tidbit? When I was researching about News Laundry I found out that the CEO of that media outlet has worked in India today which is part of TV Today Network owned indirectly by Aroon Purie's family through living media group. Aroon Puri is the brother of Madhu Trehan who with the help of her father created India Today Magazine and she is the only person to take interview of Mumbai bomb blast convict Yakub memon, also, that interview was taken just a few days before he got hanged. I still have ss of her tweets tweeting about it. Now she is the co-owner of News Laundry. One of the main investor of news laundry too.
It's interesting how all these schumks are related or connected.

With nation-states drunk on the deadly cocktail of invincibility complex, superiority complex, and persecution complex, served to them by sunni mullahs, the best approach is always an overwhelming offense. If the offense isn't overwhelming, the qaum hits back. Luckily, the people in charge of India's security know this. A justifyable beatdown of Pakistan puts everyone in check, including within our borders.
The partition of India is an incomplete process. Pakistan thinks so. India has been making the mistake of convincing itself that Partition is finished. Rather we should adopt the same revisionism, only in our favor. Even China's recent actions in Ladakh is revisionism in motion, since it doesn't think the India-China border is settled.
It's in national interest to deal pakistan a military defeat every 20-or-so years. It's overdue now, and we have plenty of strategic objectives to achieve through this beatdown. Also this time we have the west on our side. Pakistan is in trouble. Kargil roughly coincided with 9/11, and ensured that Pakistan did not receive the same benefits of globalization that India did (huge MNC investments).
Every war comes with objectives that go way beyond the military domain. So PoK is a go.
