What will change

1. Good reliable IED (heavy class) making is a skill. Means attack frequency will come down.
2. Cost of patrolling will go up. Availability of APCs is another issue. Patrolling coverage will come down.
3. As coverage comes down, resistance fighters will find it easier to challenge PA

PA has a made a bad move to fight negative PR IMO.

Imran met top Pak security brass yesterday. It was followed by firing in Hiranagar & today we lost 1 jawan in Sunderbani sector of Rajouri along LoC. Irrespective of situation along LAC, our ops in Kashmir & LoC have not been hampered. Wud be responded appropriately.

Not as simple as you'd think. Building a BIG IED that can deliver the bang nice and reliably is a delicate skill.
I mean the IED doesn’t have to be that big. M113 ‘s Armor is only around 44mm Thick in its thickest areas. A Small to Medium IED Size can take it out.

Yes but to do serious damage the IED needs to be nicely built.

Pakistan is building M113 clones for a while in Taxilla. They have the capacity to upgrade the design. Thing is - they dont have the funds to build or to buy the extra fuel this thing will need.

M113 Upgrades by HIT isn’t doesn’t make much difference when faced against New Generations of IEDs. M113 Clone still used by the Pakis still isn’t that much different from the Original. The Basic APC version is called Talha the Vehicle has slightly stronger Front, Side and Rear Armor, Different Troop and Crew Layout and New Engine than basic M113. Rest of the other stuff is the same. It can carry the same amount of Troops as basic M113.

This is going to suck. The terrain of Balochistan doesn't favor heavy vehicles like this and IIRC, a video of an assault on one post had this vehicle below. It was nigh useless because it was parked down the hilltop of the post and... Well... It's just Pakis raising the cost of their COIN ops in Balochistan.

IEDs will be nigh invisible without scout vehicles.

As LAC hots up, ISI chief Lt Gen Faiz Hameed secretly visits LoC, meets top terror commanders

Director-General of Inter-Services Intelligence Faiz Hameed
IANSUpdated Jun 04, 2020 | 11:37 IST

As per the intelligence report, Lt Gen Hameed, perceived close to Pak PM Imran Khan, held a long meeting with Chief of Army Staff, Gen Qamar Javed Bajwa, prior to his secret visit to border areas of PoK.

New Delhi: Taking advantage of the India-China border standoff on Line of Actual Control (LAC), the Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) of Pakistan is pushing militant cadres along the Line of Control (LoC) in Jammu & Kashmir, in a bid to infiltrate hundreds of trained terrorists into Indian territory.

A week ago, ISI chief, Lt Gen Faiz Hameed, and senior officials of Pakistan Army held a meeting at a guest house in Lower Gojra area of Muzaffarabad (Pakistan-occupied Kashmir) with terror kingpins including Mohammed Tahir Anwar, brother of Jaish-e-Mohammed boss Maulana Masood Azhar, reveals a report of Indian intelligence agencies.

As per the intelligence report, Lt Gen Hameed, perceived close to Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan, held a long meeting with Chief of Army Staff, Gen Qamar Javed Bajwa, prior to his secret visit to border areas of PoK.

"On 6th of May last month, another important meeting between ISI chief Faiz Hameed and PM Imran Khan took place in which Dr Moeed Yusuf, National Security Advisor, and Assistant to PM was also present. Several important strategic decisions were taken in this meeting," says the report.

However, contrary to the agenda of discussion, PM Imran Khan, after the conclusion of the meeting, publicly denied reports of "infiltration" on LOC in a surprise tweet.

According to a senior official in the Intelligence Bureau, Lt Gen Hameed's secret visit to PoK was aimed at boosting the morale of training commanders of different terrorist organisations, patronised by the Pakistan establishment to continue executing violent attacks inside Indian territory.

"This is not for the first time that the ISI chief and his team of key officials have presided over secret meetings with terror kingpins in Muzaffarabad. For years, ISI's primary focus has been to foment subversive activities, particularly in Jammu and Kashmir," the official told IANS.

The intelligence report says that the Covert Action Division of the ISI and Pakistan Army has provided logistics to several hundred armed terrorists, who have presently gathered in terror camps and near 15 launching pads along the Pakistan side of the LoC. The cadres including fidayeen groups of Pakistan-based terror outfits Jaish-e-Mohammed and Lashkar-e-Taiba are equipped with grenade launchers, sniper rifles, and other sophisticated weapons like M16A2 and AK 56 rifles.

Earlier, top Indian army commander Lt Gen BS Raju has said that terrorist camps and launch pads in PoK are full of Pakistani terrorists who seem desperate to infiltrate across the border into India.

Lt Gen Raju had told media that the Pakistan army was desperately abetting infiltrators as Indian forces have eliminated a number of foreign militants operating on the Indian soil. He felt that during summers Pakistan would try to push more and more terrorists inside Jammu and Kashmir but Indian forces are ready to crush such attempts.

Jammu and Kashmir top cop advises Congress leaders and left-lobby to ‘keep their mouth shut’ for questioning security forces

Director-General of Jammu and Kashmir Police Dilbagh Singh lashed out at Congress leaders and the left-lobby for questioning the ability of the forces. While speaking to Times now in its exclusive interview, Dilbagh Singh slammed Congress leader PL Punia and lobby for their recent take on the forces questioning the forces day after the recent threat in Pulwama was averted.

Recently, PL Punia had questioned security forces and asked after ‘How did IED reached the valley?’ On this, Dilbagh Singh said that such irresponsible remarks are delivered by Pakistan to malign the image of the country and its forces.

On being asked that what does he feels when the working of security forces is questioned by the politician, the top cop said, “It is very unfair on the part of people who know nothing about the operations happening in Kashmir, yet they keep making irresponsible comments. They should keep their mouths shut unless they have facts to share with us. Moreover, any irrational comment regarding this Pulwama IED incident would be unfair, as it’s only we who know how hard we worked to prevent the unimaginable loss of life would have been caused had terrorists succeeded in their ugly plan. So making such comments is highly irresponsible.”

These buggers will continue doing what they're doing. Dilbagh Singh will likely kick up a storm with this comment. Watch these Congis and the Left go for his head now!

LoL 😂 Upgraded M113 ain’t going to make much difference in Balochistan or KPK. Pakis need to create Dedicated MPVs to protect there Troops. Which they don’t have unlike India which has OFB and TATA MPV.
They have a dedicated MPV but this MPV has all the parts ( engjne , transmission etc )of foreign origin . It's cost would be above 10 crores so pakis can't produce it In large numbers .
It is just for show off.

These congis are number 1 c*****yas in the world. Previously they described pulwama and aftermath as fixed match between Modi and Imran, now they are questioning how attack was averted and blaming security forces.

Let them attack forces openly, they are going to sink even further into abyss.

Hamza is more like APC than MPV. The Angle of the V-Shaped Hull is bad which means it can’t affectively deflect IED Blast Away from the troop compartment and the thing can only take 10Kg IED under its wheels while the body can only take 5Kg Meanwhile the OFB MPV Mark 1 Aditya can take up to 15Kg under the wheels and up to 10Kg under the Hull. It’s not a great vehicle just looks big and bulky but in reality it’s weak. Again like you said the cost is too much for the Pakis they don’t even have the money to pay for the electric and gas bill of there Puppet PM.
