Giving Statehood back is a totally idiotic move. The security situation in the Trashmir valley hasn’t improved yet and this action of statehood returning will only cause the fragile security situation to deteriorate. The separatist rats and Islamic terrorists were waiting for this kind of opportunity. at least Hindu majority Jammu should be given the opportunity forge there own path and achieve statehood instead getting screwed over by Trashmiri separatist and Islamist politicians. In my opinion Trashmir should always stay as UT it help with cleaning up of the terrorists and resettlement of the Kashmiri Hindus.

Pakistan is a basket case now, it doesn’t even form a deterrence for India, they overspent on military and are doing so now, destroying their economy and now their over inflated size of military is too huge and requires a lot of money to operate, hence Pakistan can’t fight a war for long or even anything, Pakistan is nothing in front of India.

I feel it’s stupid to restore statehood without making sure BJP will win, I feel BJP should start making a big vote base in Jammu to make sure they form the state government of Jammu and Kashmir. Else I don’t want rats like Abdullah and Mufti family again on CM seat at any cost.

There were rumours of this will happen that will happen etc, nothing of such sort happened as were told in rumoured posts on social media and MSM. Hence it doesn’t really matter for a roadside dude here, but it matters for Jammu. Ladakh wants to remain a UT. But restoring statehood will improve our diplomatic leverage at the UN.

Once Pakistan gets off the FATF graylist after promising everlasting Piss at LoC and Kashmir in return for full state hood, they will start winding up the Hurriyat, NCP and PDP snakes to do their bidding again and we will go back to square one.

This has 'bad deal' stamped all over it. Once power shifts to civilian Govt, stability and security of the region slips out of Delhi's hands. In the end, forces and the local people will suffer, but then, who really cares?

How does restoring statehood status would resolve the indo-pak border conflict on kashmir. Pak is the lapdog of new master China, i dont believe in this theory Biden pressure. If China orders so pak will violate the ceasefire agreement at anytime. We agreed to ceasefire due to covid and economy slowdown, to conserve resources and focus more on the eastern border.
