I mean if by "moving to pre 370 era" you mean restoring statehood then wasn't that always the plan?, what remains to be seen is the other part of it.
My wish would be, Bifurcation and inclusion of some parts of Kashmir in Jammu(to which KPs can go back to), statehood to Jammu and rest of Kashmir remains a UT( maybe even a state after 5-10 years), Ladakh remains unchanged.

Bhai, MI was quite content going head down ass up in a local mosque, banging K chics, getting flooded with marriage proposals and Rs 501 as meher as long as they would take their girls out of the valley to a better life instead of being a foreigners concubine.

As for KP's refusing to pick the gun, it was a very tiny minority and they demanded a job in TA at least to give them some immunity. They didn't want to end up as pawns fighting a losing war. The VDC's did a decent job with their 303s and SLRs in Jammu and some Hindu hamlets.

The KP's continue to covet the uniform because there is no victory in a minority Hindu insurgency without the backing of the state.

The handlers would make money while the KP's would fill the morgues.

Artificially bump up the land cost and offer it for free to willing and able men who are ready to fkin die.
We have huge population. Even if a single percent is mentally ill enough to take up the offer, valley's pacified.
