There is a difference is setting ground agents and buying out things. The only thing China has is surplus money, and they try to out buy everything and everyone.

If Pak army can conduct multiple war exercises so near to border. Pak would have exhausted and bankrupted soon if we did not agree for ceasefire. I don't understand what benefit we yield thru this ceasefire, pak is in advantageous position now.

Maybe Indian Army wanted a time out, just like the Pakistan Army. Ceasefire violations are not an end in itself, and won't give you any meaningful result, if you don't occupy the Pakistani posts, or move the loc, as Pakistani troops evacuate forward posts when Indian firing is heavy, and will not suffer a lot of casualties. I don't think Pakistanis have been providing covering fire to help the terrorists infiltrate, as that would have led to Indian retaliation against those posts
