Amid misleading media reports, Border Security Force (BSF) stated that there was no ceasefire violation reported along the International Border in the Samba sector of Jammu on Saturday.

The BSF in an official statement gave a clarification saying, "Some media channels were running scrolls and tweets today regarding Cross Border Firing along IB in Samba Sector, Jammu. It is to bring to your kind notice that no Ceasefire violation as reported occurred along Jammu IB today."

Arrest and jail all the Clerics (Maulvis) from the Mosques, Eliminate all the OGWs (even suspected ones), Close all Madrassas and convert them to schools, Create a 'Salwa Judum' type of millitia among the Kashmiri youths, Completely ban all the political parties of Kashmir, let it remain as an UT for prolonged period, All govt. facilities be withdrawn from stone pelters, Re-populate South Kashmir and villages near LOC with Kashmiri pandits and Veterans.

This will be my steps in curbing the Terrorism in the valley. "Development jumla" will not work untill these steps are taken.

Jammu and Kashmir continued to perform well in the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) Index of Niti Aayog. The UT has improved its ranking in almost all sectors, its performance is excellent in sectors like health, agriculture productions, education, renewable energy, civic amenities, enhancing forest cover and ensuring gender equality during the last year, the report stated.


The composite index score of the Union Territory (UT) improved by 8 points for the good health and well being of the people, revealed in the third rendition of Niti Aayog’s index on Thursday.


Launched by NITI Aayog in 2018, the Index, developed in collaboration with United Nations, measures the progress at the national and sub-national levels in our journey towards meeting the global goals and targets.

Shopkeeper held for issuing fake driving driving licenses in J-K''s Kishtwar

Jammu, Jun 6 (PTI) A shopkeeper was arrested on Sunday for allegedly issuing fake driving licenses in Jammu and Kashmir''s Kishtwar district, police said.
Muddasir Hussain, a resident of Batwari village, was running a computer shop at the Chatroo bus stand and was arrested during a raid on his shop, a police official said.

He said police received specific information about his involvement in making fake driving licenses. Some fake driving licences and a computer was also seized during the raid, the official said.

A case under relevant sections of the law has been registered against him, the official said.

Except for the stone pelters bit which is already being done, the rest of your suggestions are pie in the sky types, not workable and certainly not happening. Ban political parties? Not even Pakistan does that. Banning Madrassas, jailing clerics etc stuff are so far out as to not be in the realm of possibilities. Maybe in China, not here.

We need to be realistic in what we can and cannot do. Saying things like what you have is not going to help the situation and only skews the perspective of what is achievable.
