China is the next America, America through its imperialism imposes its culture and funds its christianity through its missionaries to other countries. Now the more the Chinese grow the more radical imperial they become in exibiting their culture and more importantly Buddhism. They will fund Buddhist missionaries around the world to seek convert and it works better that christians missionaries. In the article it has mentioned that BRI projects in pakistan connects all major Buddhism sites in pakistan and Buddhism being core values for the project. Just imagine China colonizes pakistan and spread a Buddhism revival through its missionaries?? Insha Buddha go brrrrr

History tells us that whenever wherever Buddhism came in contact/conflict with Islam, it got eliminated in that region. History will just repeat itself.

CCP uses Buddhism/religion for networking, not as a spiritual quest.

That's because most of the Buddhists were hell bent against ruling Hindu kingdoms in those regions and sides with islamists and when Hindu kingdoms were disbanded, the islamists turned against Buddhists and the rest is history. The Buddhists learned from their mistakes not knowing that its not the Hindus but the moslems who are the real threat and have come a long way. Its not the same anymore

Strategic depth inside afghanistan :pound: :pound:
Taliban warn Afghan neighbours against allowing US bases
The Taliban warned Afghanistan's neighbours Wednesday against allowing the United States to operate military bases on their soil, the insurgents insisting they would thwart such a "historic mistake".
Washington is in the final stages of withdrawing its troops from Afghanistan, and a flurry of diplomatic calls between the United States and Pakistan in recent days has fuelled speculation the Pentagon is scouting for new bases to use against the Taliban.

but it also does not matter anymore.there is no serious buddhist country or group that can form a strong state.

for me buddhism is fundamentally against worldlyness which makes it a bad religion for creating aand fueling an empire..it will be peaceful and produce calm perfect citizens in one way.but you then need outliers to defend the empire.
