Taliban is not a central organization despite having a leader. It's a loose Conferdacy of warlords. Taliban core has got 300-500 special trained soldiers and rest of 1 lac +fighter are maintained by warlords. Afghan army after withdrawal of US will not fight their brother who are in Taliban.
Things will be worse in kpk since Afghan don't recognize durand line focus on this province

Taliban believes in Afghan territorial integrity and not in expansionism, Taliban has never invaded or has intention of invading any country as I could make out of the interviews. Pashtoons on both sides of Durand line don’t believe in that “artificial line”. No matter how much Pakistan says India is not united, Indian states consider sub-nationalism above nationalism but fact is that Pakistan is much more divided than India could imagine, subnationalism is higher in Pakistan. So no matter how much Pakistani pashtoons call themselves Pakistani, they call themselves Pashtoon first and believe that Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is an integral part of Afghanistan and I am not making up this on my own, many pakistani pashtoons on YouTube say the same.

Hence it is very likely that Khyber Pakhtunkhwa will face the same wave of insurgency as was during NATO invasion of Afghanistan aka Global War on Terror and Balochistan’s northern frontiers having borders with Afghanistan will face same wave of extremism. As Pashtuns believe Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is a part of Afghanistan, Taliban “may” try to get it back from Pakistan to make “Akhand Afghanistan”.

Waziristan will once again become the battleground for Taliban, and no matter how much Pakistan lies that Tehreek-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) is Indian Sponsored/Funded, fact remains it is the natural extension of the Taliban in Pakistan.

Although the wave of violence as mentioned above is inevitable but the scale of violence will be lower compared to the previous wave because Taliban will become busy in the Afghan civil war (unfortunately) and lower intensity conflicts in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa will happen but is won’t be drastically low.

Porkistanis were laughing on us, having fun seeing funeral pyres in India. I hope they get sense and apologise inside their minds if they have one.

Pakistanis or Muslims never feel apologetic. They are proud of Barbaric acts did by Muslim invaders to whom they consider their forefather. They have a deep instinct to repeat what Muslim invaders had done. They did it in Kashmir, they did it in Bangladesh, they do that in Pakistan and any corner of India where they have the numbers. We saw this in Bengal.

Balochistan half population is pastun speaking and kpk is also pastun speaking.
In 1979 ISI smartly created 4 warlords on their payroll and each and every other small warlord use to get weapon after they had paid allegiance to these 4 warlords.
If US want Afghan government to function in Kabul US just need to give weapon and nothing else.
Taliban is very complex Conferdacy and controlling Taliban is complex procedure. Things will be bitter in kpk and also Balochistan since every conflict have spillover.
Remember Hillary words "when you keep snake in your backyard after sometime it will kill you also"

Actually Taliban is not an organisation, Taliban comprises of various tribes who fight for the ideology of sovereign Afghanistan. Hence they “may” Want to claim Khyber Pashtunkhwa as well.

This applicable to India as well. The problem is that our smokes are pythons and Pakistan's snakes are cobra. Cobra kills you instantly and Python kills you with slow poison. Commies, Islamist, Siculars , Librandus are snakes we have charmed in our back yard.

What is India’s strategy towards Afghanistan after taliban takeover?
as always “wait and watch”.
I believe Taliban had come to India for negotiating India's role/stance in Afghanistan.
Current generation of Taliban are businessmen. For right price they may even protect our interest.
Currently it looks like our government has policy paralysis in Afghanistan. Lets hope its sort term.

That doesn’t mean we’ll give them money, money is something Uncle Sam also gave to the Taliban and the rest is history.

"Current generation of Taliban are businessmen" trope is a red herring.

None of Indian interests in Afghanistan align with taliban interests.

Indian interests in Afghanistan are education, governance, health and infrastructure for afghan people, all these are haram in eyes of taliban. all it takes one mullah to say, indian help is kafir help and hence haram, no talibani will raise an objection to this argument.

in the end, we will be paying jaziya to local warlords just to keep Indians working there alive.

any hint of extortion by taliban, india should be pulling out our people from those regions.

afghan training and education can be done in india too by expanding scholarships.

We should not mind giving them money if that means they protect or forward our interest.
Remember its always easy to deal with businessmen than radicals or zealots.
United States gave money to Taliban (then the Afghan Mujahideen) to forward America’s interests by throwing away the Soviet Armed Forces.

Israel is Kaffir and india is Kaffir but when money is thrown , every one is biradar.

Primary Indian interest in Afghanistan are:
  1. Make sure the so called Taliban fighters and Afghan Mujahideen don't spill into Kashmir
  2. Deny Pakistani their so called strategic depth (i.e. Afghanistan)
  3. In case of conflict put pressure on Pakistan from other front
Everything else is secondary.

With these objectives I believe we can negotiate with Taliban
