They are just a holding force but its almost certain that if porks make a large armored thrust to indian territory in less manned areas like thar they will capture some land.but will pakistan commit such forces in large concentration mostly no.they would always try to fight defensively and will try to capture small areas of indian territory and may dig in but eventually they will be blasted back

Biggest defect of porkis is that their forces are approximately immovable since they lack transport helicopter fleet. Thats why their movement would be highly slow during initial phase of war. Due to this they are more defensive and focus on tactical warhead
But my biggest fear is artillery that porkis are having spg and 155mm their number is decent even more than indian army.and bsf must be trained to face barrages of artillery in initial phase of war. Bsf must train equip themselves to retailiate these artillery barrages effectively
