Considering the role envisioned for them; how many Apaches do you think would be adequate for India's needs (on both borders)? Will the Apaches given to the IAF be available immediately as & when Army needs them?

The IAF shall not be in a position to provide attack helicopters on demand or lift capability for SHBO in initial stages of any offensive operations due to priority in moving of assets and logistics in support of IAF's air offensive. Were were Chinese copy- S-300 on 26FEB when mirage 2000 were dominating the airspace in POK.
