300 number was bandied around by the India media. Airforce never gave any official numbers.
The Air force not giving any official numbers is part of the problem. The 300 number was pushed by the Indian media but the Indian military never corrected the media by releasing any official statement.

Yes we should put out more videos but it is simply not possible to document every single op
You are right that not every op can be documented but major ops like surgical strikes and balakot air strike should definitely be properly documented.

Why indian army dosent form 6-8 attack team (just like ssg border action team) to constantly do deep stealth strike inside Pakistan. Pakistani army constantly uses border action team against us but we mostly focus upon artillery, atgm , sniper, mortar and small arms to strike.
Why should we replicate Pak actions or tactics.
Need not be the rule. But.
There has been one area where we have responded in kind.
Sniper Attcks. India acquired superior range High power Sniper Rifles and has ensured that Pakistan feels the pain. We have seen several reports of Pak soldiers dying from Indian sniper rifle shots.
Pakistan cannot launch a frontal attack on us as they know fully well the outcome.
So it can only launch sneak attacks or promote terrorism in Kashmir.
India is much stronger and everybody acknowledges we have more of almost all military equipment compared to Pakistan.
But Pakistan has to be punished, no doubt.
If we really want Pakistan to feel the pain then I advocate salami slicing(moving our borders forward) after every major attack or provacation traced to Pakistan.
Eat away a few sq. km of PoK regularly.
Salami slicing will of course mean killing Pak army men. Their border outposts have to be neutralised.

Let us see if they have the guts to escalate. Any counter action by them will be responded to strongly by us thereby increasing their losses.

The use of border kill tams will significantly strain the pal border expenditure as it will force them to deploy more heavily.

We don't have to deploy them regularly like pak sends terrorists.

All of ours can be planned and executed well by specifically trained men meant for this with the best gadgets and gizmos and also we must strike at opportune targets and our own choosing too.kond of like the 2016 surgical strike but these will be semi routine affairs.like about 10 times a year for example.it should also be at random points.

This will cause more tension from their side.

And also we can equip these men with proper equipment for documenting the exploits with dead bodies of enemy for propaganda warfare.

This is the benefit.

There is one problem.
If any of our soldiers die in Pak, India's traitor opposition will start shouting the need for sending soldiers to Pak.

Say they are part of offensive defence against border terror infrastructure and claim it being part of strategy of premtively attacking.also it should be almost a special force like raid.dont tell me indian army can't spare the manpower for a routine 10 such raids every year.

Airforce gave press conference and said targets were hit accurately. And giving casualty figures is Indian Government's responsibility. You can never accurately give a figure without on the ground damage assessment.

That's long gone man. But even an independent Balochistan will be India's friend and ever ready to fuck rest of Pakistan.
I believe in Akhand Bharat and do not understand why Indians are willing to give up potential gains in territory. Balochistan is probably the richest territory Pakistan has and if they offer to merge, or we offer to let them, it would be stupid to not take them up on it . I Have seen in fact in the past, recent past maybe 5 years, BLA people talking about wanting to merge with India.

Indian Air force gave a press conference not evidence, which Pakistan was easily able to counter by inviting international journalist to asses the damages and showing satellite images which mostly shows vegetation damages.

Numerous independent reports suggest IAF failed to hit its intended target,

Indian Air-force also said we couldn't give Pakistan a proper response because of tech asymmetry. which considering the budget difference between IAF and PAF is just sad.

"We felt we could not punish the adversaries appropriately. So we need to bolster technological asymmetry so that the enemy does not even dare to come close to the border,"

IAF chief also admits big mistake, says our own missile hit chopper.

If balakot was such a success then why is the IAF making such statements ?

Pakistan was able to successfully spin the narrative to its advantage, because IAF was not able provide credible evidence and instead admitted IAF has tech asymmetry and that IAF's own missile hit its Mi-17 killing 6 IAF personnel.

From a Infromation warfare and propaganda point of view balakot air strike was a big failure.

Wrong thread, admins move it to the Balakot(or whatever the thread is named) do not clutter this thread with the usual rhetoric over and over again, take it to the relevant thread if you still want to discuss.
