The point is, now you've got 2x systems, doing the same thing, essentially ER means "extended range". TWS data is then shared to F16 via link 16.

Not much has changed on ground (or rather, in air) except increase in number of platforms.

Their saab awecs platform was airborne on 26th night.. watch video of retired western air commnd. Chandrasekharan hari kumar... We used 16 mirages.. nd 12 mirages crossed loc.. at 30000 feet.. while fooling their saab awecs..


Read this... We attacked them.. they were not able respond.. we crossed loc.. bombed that terrorist camp.. nd came back unscathed.. paf was caught with it's pants down..
