LoL šŸ˜‚ I donā€™t understand there logic, what do they think Army gains by ā€œstealingā€ gas cylinders from them. This is like you said is a idiotic drama made by Trashmiri momins. Even if there gas cylinders were indeed stolen then it was probably done by there own Trashmiri neighbors who stole it when these idiots went out into the streets to Stone Pelt the security forces.

More than adequate vs. what? Against surface fleet, maybe yes. Against land attack, too few.
While I understand BrahMos is incredibly difficult to intercept, it can still be jammed and spoofed. Putting all your eggs in one basket is never a good strategy.
Brahmos uses Inertial guidance for mid course and switches to Radar seeker with Satellite input in the terminal phase. It will store a reference frame and then compare it to the real time data. In the event that the enemy is able to do 100% jamming (not possible but lets consider it) the missile guidance will aim it to the last programmed position still.

And no one is firing 1 missile per target. Salvos are fired in lots of 2s or 3s or even higher to increase kill probability.

Having said that Karachi is under range of land based ballistic missiles, Cruise missiles and Air Raids. No one is putting all eggs in one basket.

If you can, try to make a 3-D composite of the altitude, speed and flight path of this particular aircraft or any other aircraft you suspect. You will get an idea of what it's up to........

Let's say for a hypothetical scenario, we are trying to decimate Karachi harbor. While a single Arleigh Burke-class destroyer can lay waste to Karachi, we will need 3-4 IN ships for the same effect.
Cost of bhramos is super expensive it's one of the most expensive Missile. If we just keep jamming our boats with 96 missiles that will increase the total budget because missiles have shelf life. And procurement cost will be terrifically increased.

And people claim that bhramos can be jammed and sure it can be jammed but do Pakistan have that capability? They ever showcased that?

So from obvious facts it looks like navy find that filling boats with Missile is not worth it.

I believe once we have crushed Pak navy. We can use MIG-29k or IAF fighter's to bomb the shit out of Karchi.

CRPF succeeding in one operation seems to be an outcome of recent boot they got from top police brass. These are games agencies keep playing. However, I wish they become as good and efficient.
Saar, it's not just this operation. CRPF (mainly QAT) has been consistently deployed in operations. Let's not ignore Fateh Kadel and the encounters that followed and also, the Nagrota encounter had JKP and CRPF finishing off some of the terrorists before the Paras showed up.

Long way to go, but they are trying. Talking to one ex-QAT member, I realized that CRPF's special units are very much shouldering the burden. The regulars are a different story though. I don't know enough to comment on them but the QAT member himself didn't hold too high of an opinion of them.

They use civilian drivers in recon vehicles?

Oh... That kind of civilian, I guess.

It's possible that these C-17s are going to air-drop supplies and probably also artillery/equipment.

From an older tweet.

Unusually heavy CAPs going on at the moment.

Posturing or any hope of action tonight?
We might as well be creeping towards a two-front war. As India sinks deeper in the COVID-19 crisis, and our all resources directed towards fighting it, Pakistan and China may not get a better opportunity to attack India.

Lol who cares what was stolen.. Mostly these Kashmiris hide terrorists & are on a payroll of these militants. They live a lavish lifestyle with their kids who study in other states with their pockets full of cash Can u believe it? Most Kashmiris are already booming with Halala money. And our stupid government gives them scholarships instead of patriotic Jammu kids.
