I remember GOC of 15 Corps also survived a crash in ALH Dhruv in 2017.

He was primary in moulding the military vision+ambition of the GoI and was brilliant, unabashed about it.

We knew it he would supercede others, become COAS and bring CASO in Kashmir.

Maintenance isnt an issue its the helis. Heli crash in civil aviation is rare and they fly everyday.
