India is a country in transition.
Its not a first world country and it also not a 3 rd world country.
Some it cities are highly developed and people standard of living is high.
But most of 2 tier or 3 tier cities things are underdeveloped .
Few parts of North East are still not connected with rail and chinki have brought bullet train near lac.
India gdp per capita is low(2000dollars) that is considered as lower middle group country.
But India gdp ppp is high that means people in India have quiet a sufficient amount to buy their luxuries.
So we can say India is country in transition few of places of very rich butfor bulk it's not the same.
Beg to differ sir !
This is a manipulated term used by west so that they can satisfy their ego, few points to support my claims
1) terms like 3rd world country/ developing/ underdeveloped doesn't have a official defination, different countries have different defination for the same term. (Just like armed kashmiri are terrorists for us but freedom fighter for some people)
Consider this
Acc. To the EU and USA
Venezuela, berma or grees are developed countries ( they don't have a staple economy, people are running away from their countries) while thiland, india, china are 3rd world countries. Why is that ? You can decide on your own
This terms is directly connected to World war.
Those countries who supported the USA like japan were considered 1st world country,
While those who supported USSR were known as 2nd world countries
Countries which doesn't choose sides were termed as 3rd world or less human as those countries were of no use to the west!
It's a racist term please don't use it to define our country
