Or more like .. 'Pakistan is the only country from the subcontinent who will get in bed with US deep state if the price is right'.

Why would anybody want to let go of its prodigal son who took decades of careful nurturing to become a neighborhood bully. Pakistan is the pivot around which the Anglo-Saxon West's subcontinent policy is drawn.

US must not blame porki army. Porki are real idiots who introduced drugs and Kalashnikov culture inside their country due to Afghan jihad. They literally sold their country in hands of US.

US already knew that OBL was saved by ISI from tora bora in 2001 and even US delayed offensive deliberately to save OBL.
Real business is money US government use to pour trillion of dollars in US defence industry in name of afghanistan.US politicians and US defence industry made a huge sum from it.US politician have big shares in these defence companies.Amazon and google earned billions by selling their cloud to US government. US oil companies made money by transporting US soldiers and US controlled drugs trade from afghanistan. Drug are a critical component of pharmaceutical products.
US also stopped Russia and central Asian countries to sell oil and gas to rest of the world through Indian Ocean by controlling afghanistan. US is now one of largest producer of refined oil.

US weapon got world wide acceptance of quality due to it's use in afghanistan eg -stinger missile, etc. So means more business in export of weapons to rest of the world. Large number of new weapon were tested in afghanistan eg-drone, etc. Due to their performance in afghanistan India is also buying them.

Sadly thats the bitter truth as far as GoI is concerned they treat the frontline soldiers as expendebles always & ready to sacrifice few lives. Remember Apr 2020 incident, the sacrifice of 5 commandos of the elite 4 Para who were killed in action after they eliminated 5 porki terrorists in close combat in J&K’s Keran sector. They were dropped into snow covered forest area and no backup air support provided to take down the terrorists.
