yes , we can , but are we willing to ? We need more water for our farmers in punjab and haryana . But unfortunately that stupid indus water treaty dosen't allow it .china has reduced mekong to a trickle and using that water for their own citizens benefits without caring about backlash from their smaller thai neighbours , and here we are with our spineless leadership who are willing to give away 80% of water of the rivers which originate in our mountains thanks to nehru who negotiated the infamous indus water treaty . Our kisans in punjab are not happy about this . I say that we dam all these rivers and divert their water to our canals . Down with the fuckin indus water treaty !

Not to worry. River Ravi is connected to upper bari doab canal in indian Punjab. The doab canal itself is connected to the Indian Sutlej and the Sutlej is connected to the Rajasthan canal Which goes all the way into the Rajasthan desert, which can always use more water. I would say extend the Rajasthan canal all the way to Kutch in Gujarat and divert more water from the Ravi into the doab and Rajasthan canals so the water can empty into the Kutch. Then name the entire canal system “River Saraswathi”. There won’t be any Ravi River left in Porkland. Khel khatham. Ta Ta. Goodu Bye.

Those small streams(in the map) are used by terrorists to infiltrate often.
We have seen terrorists (a lot of them) using these streams to go to upper reaches of Kathua Udhampur and Doda dist. and then they disappear. Every now and then there is a sighting of terrorist but it often goes unreported.
