We are third world army.
We don't have air medivac for our injured soldiers. Only soldiers serving in Arunachal will have these kind of facility and sometimes crpf in naxals can have air Ambulance including siachen
We cannot provide bullet proof jacket to every soldiers who is not at front line or at CT ops. Only these 2 type will be equipped with bullet proof jacket of world class.
We are not US Army and don't compare a 3 rd world army with 1 st world army.
We face different situation most of the time mountainous and they face different challenges

India is a country in transition.
Its not a first world country and it also not a 3 rd world country.
Some it cities are highly developed and people standard of living is high.
But most of 2 tier or 3 tier cities things are underdeveloped .
Few parts of North East are still not connected with rail and chinki have brought bullet train near lac.
India gdp per capita is low(2000dollars) that is considered as lower middle group country.
But India gdp ppp is high that means people in India have quiet a sufficient amount to buy their luxuries.
So we can say India is country in transition few of places of very rich butfor bulk it's not the same.

There are many shades of Pakistan even in paki army. if there is a ceasefire there must have been some talks behind the scenes. Exchanging Sweet's & ceasefire at border doesn't harm anyone, it only save lives at border on both side.
