In mountain warfare tanks and ifv are needed near passes and have almost no use.

That is strictly for sectors dominated by steep mountains, not plateau's like Ladakh and upper Sikkim.

Most powerful weaponry in mountain warfare is artillery.

We don't even have that in decent numbers for 2-front war.

But how do we go about it?.
Do we have an roadmap to achieve it.
As long as the Pakistan Army stays united and is an organised force, it will be difficult. We first need to get the Pakistani Army to get torn apart in different directions and weaken considerably. Coups and counter coups. Even amongst the Punjabi Officers there should be various factions fighting against each other. Disintegration of the Pak Army will make it easier for an external force like the UN(danger of Chinese veto and probably unlikely) or NATO to intervene in the interest of the world community to prevent Pakistan's nuclear weapons from falling into the hands of the Islamic fundamentalists who may then use it indiscriminately.

As a first the ethnic minority regiments like the Baloch, Sindh and the Pashtoon soldiers and officers should be made to revolt and mutiny. Then the so called homogeneous, united Punjabi soldiers and officers should be made to fight against each other. Factional fighting.

Will not be easy to achieve but not impossible. There are factions even amongst the Sunnis. Most Punjabis are Sunni Muslims and a fact is that most of the Officers of the Pak Army are Sunnis.
