There is nothing wrong in Speculating on the basis of fact & ground realities. I have the right to support and oppose on shortcomings of the govt, because for me nation is first.

There is next to no information about Poonch. It looks like a major infiltration of SSG trained and SSG commandos who have bunkers, tunnels and possibly fiber optic cables through these tunnels to connect to other side.

This could explain why despite jamming and no internet services, messages are being passed on.

I won't be surprised if Mexican drug cartels were used as liason with jihadi groups to give tunneling experience with Taliban / Al-Qaeda based groups which filtered to LeT and affiliated terror organization.

Fibre optic can be used with solar battery / charger. Fiber optic use electricity converted into photons to transfer data.

So if you have a self contained tunnel network then you can sustain unless bombing / combing weeds out the Network.

second thing I also thought abt this battery/solar panel thing, but since you are assuming abt extensive tunnel, bunkers network, so, for such a long distance fiber optics need repeaters and splitters.

and now just dont say that there will be solar panels attached to them also
