He's irrelevant, has zero effect. States don't target the leaders/top officials of other countries for the most part, since it usually leads to an escalating cycle . It's a war same thing happened in 1990 that time everyone was quite same now

About 75% of this thread are emotional outbursts asking why Pakistan can't be nuked or why these attacks keep happening, come on guys.


For as long as Pakistan exists and feels incentivised to act in the way they do then these attacks will continue, it's not rocket science. It doesn't matter what GoI is in power or what specific weapons India acquires (Brahmos, SCALP, attack helos etc).


What one has to do is look at the bigger picture, why now and for what purpose? There is nothing random that happens in Kashmir.

I have been seing this for last 2 decades, military analyst and retired generals keep saying we need to plan and implement a long term strategy, but unfortunately no proactive measures had been taken yet, after 3 decades targetted killing of Hindus return in J&K, is it sheer inefficiency or polical vendatta. how long we can stay silent & keep saying its not a new situation. How do you justify it saying this is Random situation.?

neither inefficiency nor political vendetta(whatever that means), just means that problem itself is complex relative to the tools available in Indian state’s armoury.
