Questions should be asked here, "whether we want PoK and PoJK with or without people"?

If without people, than how to achieve it? and if with people, than how to handle the massive demography change?

We dont need to capture whole PoK as we need to accept their population & will be a nightmare. It would be wise to capture linear portion of land starting from Drass stretching along until Afghan border. A stretegic path will ensure we reaching to Central Asia and separates china-pak connectivity. But even if it is 10% of PoK we must be ready to pay huge price. Current leadership in GOI might not even have prepared a road map, all statements are mere election propoganda

OK.. I am joining @iNorthernerOn9 Khayali pulao party here, because it's so hard to resist.. So, if US leases a few squadrons of Chinooks, and lends diplomatic help during the war, then US might demand a permanent base in Gilgit to keep an eye on Central Asia, and for operations in Afghanistan.. as payback.. Well, US would actually demand more than that..

I know of Lt gen YK Joshi who commanded 13 JAK RIF during Kargil, but did he actually lead a formation up the peaks in face of enemy fire?

best thing will be to wreak havoc in multiple location on border from jk to gujrat rather than conc on one front.
