We are trying are level best to indigenous things.
India imports are decreasing exponentially and exports are also increasing.
Few sector in future where we will depend on foreign products will be:
1) SAM systems and nuclear submarine with Russia
2) anti submarine system (Poseidon, sea hawk, etc) from US and drone technology
3) electronics and drones from Israel
4 ) electronics and might be aircraft jets and submarine in future from france
we need more collaboration with Japan in few other spaces.
in rest all technology we are trying are level best and things will change. We are a weapon hungry Nation it will take time indigenous things.

for porki they get free missiles and jets just to engage india most of their SAM systems fails, frigate don't work properly, jf17 turned to a cheap blunder they are making them function properly by buying hell lot of jets, Chinese Submarine are orchestra under sea.

only sector in which Pakistan are most head to head with india is in electronic warfare.
