The security alert came from NZ government. The threat must have been shared to them by on-ground assets connected with their Islamabad mission.

Pakistan is a compromised failed state. Why they have such massive security arrangements for events like this explains it without saying any words.

This particular para that I quoted worries me a bit.

Just what exactly do you mean when you say terrorists crossing borders. Also the fact that ATS and state police teams are meeting together means that the terrorist's caught a few days ago were just part of a much bigger plan which means the other sleeper cells might still be active and would advance their timelines due to fear of being caught.

The terrorists that were caught were responsible for delivering weapons and bombs to sleeper cells.

Fortunately Central agencies working closely with delhi police were able to catch them .

What is unfortunate is the fact that one of the terrorists caught , who was from Mumbai AND was under the watchlist of Mumbai ATS was not caught before.

Mumbai ATS said they were closely monitoring this terrorist but why weren't they able to locate and arrest him? He was in Mumbai and had been convicted previously also.

Mumbai ATS said they were also not aware that Delhi police was going to conduct a raid and catch this guy.

Maybe to better prepare next time and to improve coordination, there is a meeting between central intelligence and ATS of various agencies.

Something is cooking, that's for sure. NSG drills being increased in all locations, multiple spies of porkies getting caught and now terrorists being caught.

What I do not understand is what is Pakistan going to get from this? Any major attack , especially inside Indian mainland would be a surefire way of massive response from Indian side. Not only that, but look at the timing. Pakistan is already getting rightfully blamed for the mess in Afghanistan and their links to Taliban. Any terror attack done from porkies would further degrade their image on global platform and there is a good chance it might finally push them FATF blacklist.

It would be extremely stupid of Pakistan to carry out an attack now. But God knows, they have displayed the same kind of stupidity in the past.
