why don't we pour some real moolah & start using 3rd gen atgm , precision guided munitions & suicide drones regularly to target bakis same old same old light field gun,indian field gun,120 mm & sometimes 155mm ,add something new,enemy already is in battle fatigue & frustration has crept in him with aam abduls claiming that baki fauj elite have sold kashmir,aam abduls buoyed by taliban are frustrated with any lack of action ,enemy is also losing mid 30s in baloch & tribal areas every month such is the battle fatigue that enemy force FC killed their own 3 levies forces,its time is ripe to open the floodgates but will we be proactive or wait for the situation to unfold

Those weapons you mentioned are to be used for very specialised missions because we don't have them in numbers and they are fairly costly than usual arms.
They are to ve used in all out war not ceasefire violation for we dont have them or even if we have are in very small number.
Lets say , army uses a apache to target enemy post, I guarantee you within few hours your apache pilot will be in abhinanadan like situation.

Apache ,has capabilities to do stand off strikes so what you say is just not true ,while it would be foolish to use Apache in LoC at all because of mountainous terrain & Apache of IAF is primarily geared for anti armour role so that was a bad example ,there is MPATGM also as well as indigenous options of PGM & suicide drones,what I saying is enemy in LoC is under protection of well built defences so inflicting large casualties is very difficult in such scenario maybe Excalibur of m777 is also an option but army hasn't change their gear maybe in 2 decades with exemption of small arms which have been recently changed,so while we may have quantity, quality wise were are not that in front of bakis,CATS programme has suicide drones & PGM which can be an cost Effective indigenous option but it still 3-5 years away,but as I said IA has bought atleast 100+ drones which effectively is much more of SKY STRIKER SUICIDE DRONE FROM APHA DESIGN & ELBIT JV AS WELL AS SWARM DRONES FROM NEWSPACE TECHNOLOGIES JUST YESTERDAY DEALS WERE MADE PUBLIC ,so army is looking at the options vis a vis drone warfare
