How close are we in developing an OTH

There are many members with access to contacts in the Government and the military. According to them we already have OTH radars since the last few years.
The Swordfish radar of DRDO is an OTH system.

It would be great if we are able to monitor almost whole of Chinese airspace. We will gain valuable intelligence and early warning on threats. From the North East of India the Agni 5 with its minimum 5000km range can cover China's northern most areas including Harbin. A 5000km range powerful OTH radar system node in our North East should be theoretically capable of monitoring airspace above Harbin and Inner Mongolia.

Now GE of the US had constructed an 3000 miles(4800 km) range OTH radar system network in the US mainland during the Cold War.

So maybe a 5000 km OTH radar installation is technically feasible. Being optimistic here. The DRDO should explore the possibility of achieving it. It would be a long term investment against China.

When I was a kid(in 90s)... I had seen this tendency among villagers/illiterates/dehaatis... (no offense meant) that they used to pick up certain english phrases(dialogues) from movies & often repeated them meaninglessly & felt proud in themselves... For eg. "You shut up"/"get out" etc.

Same today I observe with Madarsachaap nation of Pakistan. They also pick up English phrases & repeat it meaninglessly & feel delighted as if they did something big. For ex... "Tea is fantastic"/"Wait and watch" & nowadays "ABSOLUTELY NOT"

Had my countrymen been doing same today... I would have felt ashamed but thank God... tens of millions are professionally conversant in English so much so that we don't feel any delight in it.

Army to receive first batch of 30 indigenous SWITCH tactical drones at LAC


The First of its kind SWITCH UAVs developed indigenously are all set to be inducted into the Indian Army for deployment along the LAC.


The first batch of these drones have successfully completed trials in harsh weather conditions and high altitudes and will be delivered by end of August for deployment. The trials were done in Eastern Ladakh including many other locations along the Northern and western borders.

The SWITCH is a Fixed Wing VTOL (Vertical Take-off and Landing) UAV that can be deployed at high altitudes and harsh environments for day and night surveillance in ISR missions. It has a daylight payload of 1280×720 pixels, 25x Optical Zoom and has a thermal payload of 640×480 pixels. The drone can be operated with support from the Ground Control Station consisting of a high-range communication box, a hand-held controller for full camera control, and a laptop/tablet for live video streaming and pre-flight checks.

Prithviraj was killed after battle.
His son was crowned as puppet ruler (this can be confirmed by coins of that time in which ghori name and rajput name was written in each side of coin).
Ghori never became sultan of delhi.
Delhi sultanate was formed in 1206 (about 14 years after tarain battle).
Prithvi raj raso is bullshit that was found in 16 th century in gujrat. It was written 400 years after battle of tarain.
Prithvi raj raso was written to glorify rajput way of war and to romanticize it.
