We are magnanimous fools... agreed to a ceasefire & abiding by it.

Only way to give some respite to whatever is left of Afghan forces... is to heat up LOC & WB... along with a visible mobilisation... only this way we can squeeze out the 15-20k Paki army regulars from the Taliban ranks(this is now in open being acknowledged by many)

Our status-quo lover politicos & 'bureau-rats' have blood of all those security forces & Civilians on their hands who will die in the next terror wave... which would come after(if & when) pak stabilizes its western borders, Taliban gains full control of Afghanistan & full focus of Paki army comes on Indian front.

on the first tweet, let that fellow debate that particular hypothesis with seasoned foreign ministry hands and convince them on a public platform.

to presume that what ever appears on the news is the only reality, and nothing else happens in the world is ignorance in my books.

Since the argument is hypothetical, Someone can make a counter argument that US requested India for a ceasefire with pak and India obliged. GoI will encash this favour somewhere else at some other time. Hypothetical of course.

We need to realise we are probably already in Cold War 2.0 between US and China, starting date is debatable . Either it started with Trumps tariffs on Chinese goods, or release of Chinese virus in 2019 or on Christmas Day 2019 when those two Arunachalis were Supposedly kidnapped by PLA.

either way during last Cold War things used to happen across the global almost every week, because of moves and counter moves between US and USSR. it takes years for info to come out.

Might as well, keep an open mind and avoid being adamant on arriving at conclusions.

Sure mate, good question.

During the last cold war, US and USSR never fought directly with each other, they fought their cold war in other countries.

We know now that PLA started moving their troops towards our border in dec 2019 which coincides with news of wuhan virus going public on social media. while keeping the biological warfare component in one corner, India China standoff can be regarded as the first instance of military component of the new cold war. the first contact or sign of something was about to happen on LAC was the kidnapping of those two arunachalis on christmas day 2019.

Calling a scenario hypothetical is also hypothetical or it must be examined by foreign policy experts. This forum is becoming whore house of status quoists. Rather offering multiple theories so that one can keep everything open ended a misleading auro have been paddled here by few from position of influence.

@ezsasa rather wearing your compulsive white hat you should stop wearing any hat and let the opinions come forth from multiple view points.

The situation in Indian subcontinent is pretty clear now. For Pakistan Afghanistan is more precious than Kashmir. They have an existential Pashtun problem which they will keep fighting and keep wearing it out. Kashmir on the other hand is on auto pilot mode with intrinsic factor in Kashmir keeping the circle of violence alive.

Simply looking at the money and resources they are spending one can see how they had every cog wheel ready including calling truce with India and most likely China in the loop to create pressure that will work as an insurance.

We do not need so called foreign policy experts to read this simple equation.

The question of Indian assistance to Afghanistan was never a brainer. We are mortally scared to send boots on the ground after Sri Lanka. But the point made was to deliberate on every option than becoming predictable.

Everyone here trusts the strength of India. If you want to play safe then their are no bets to play here.

Their is prudence in ceasefire at LOC for which I too have written couple of posts. But hounding members who doubt this truce is misplaced too.

Few pages down we were even asked to find positives about Pakistan. Seriously!

YouTube is full of good Pakistanis making AVs and giving good remarks on India. Same can be found on Indian side.Those few good positives doesn’t matter and there are no fences to to hide them. Not every German persecuted Jews, not every Sikh killed Hindus during 10 years of militancy, Kashmir is just a small spot on the map from where millions of Hindus were forced to flee and it has inflicted such a massive cost on Union of India that we are still struggling to level it out.

We have survived so far because few desperate hot head men came out on streets and fought. Kindly do not make whole country an overthinking over weight intellectual. This is a dirty war and one day we have to get our hands dirty and take the blame for it.

Every insurgency in India which may have been combated out by the state has resulted in the full controls of the political and cultural power of those anti state elements. The lesson is right there to learn. Why left is continuing to fight even we know their reasons are preposterous and stupid? Why? Because they know winning or losing is not important therefore there are no bets on playing safe.

Pakistan’s continuous cuts and pricks, same now adopted by China must be openly replicated and we must keep looking for new chances to do so.

To rest and pause is allowed but there is no peace here, please talk and discuss war.

Those who used to have meltdowns and never were the first respondents during crisis should not box members into coloured pills.

Every pill comes with an expiry date. Let that pill die it’s natural death. The black pill will turn blue or red or whatever that means when the state will act right.

Be it was Mig-21 crash or Galwan there were only few first respondents who restored the order. Many members joined the force and became an asset for next crisis. No one was censored but answered back.

There were members who called Abhinandan reckless and at fault, even made adverse comments on his service promotions.

Let us not patronise the members and play these petty games for your digital egos. People change when they are allowed to vent it out. Even when they are not called out they self-reflect and improve.

Rawjesh never leaves any clue after any attack for any investigation agency .
This is the level of proficiency.

This is a very serious charge and will be used to cover their next attack on India. India do not benefits by attacking some random Chinese doing any job in Pakistan. Pakistan has an active war going along its western border. A border which is pours and accommodates multiple actors. Not to mention an active domestic strive lead by their so called subjects.

By this time they should have got perpetrators caught and crime solved or at least brought in front of a judge and started litigation process. But making such vague charges without any due legal process shows how complacent they are on every account of running their affairs. Last time they were slapped by ICJ who suggested them to bring forth the case of an alleged India spy to civil court.

This statement must also be noted by Chinese to see the kind of shallow and dysfunctional state they are working with.
