In any case whatever happens in both Manipur & Kashmir short of a major outrage won't have any impact whatsoever on mainland India or its politics, as compared to say a communal riot - minor intermediate or major in mainland India, except for News Channels, Think Tanks & Op Eds in papers. That too would be forgotten in less than a week. That's just the way things are out here .

We are fighting an insurgency, the terrorists have resorted to hit soft targets and will continue to do so. If the PM starts commenting on every attack, then you'll be mocking him for his hollow statements almost once a month while attacks continue. If someone did not know better then reading the last few pages would make them think Kashmir was this paradise of peace and tranquility just a decade ago!
