GoI is doing a big mistake. A temporary lull in insurgency doesn't signify peace.

J&K must demonstrate normalcy for at least a decade & J&K police must demonstrate their ability to handle insurgency & CI ops deep into jungles & mountains which are currently only carried out by PARA SFs.

Unlike Manipur where tensions are mainly between ethnic groups, J&K its against the state, plus Pakistan actively assisting in the secessionist movements, we will have very less time to react.

Perhaps, you are reading too much into a pre election interview of the HM. They have been promising elections and even restoration of complete statehood for a long long time now.

Does the Pakistani 1985 vintage F-16 have AESA radars?

A poster earlier said that Indian Sukhois cannot have 120/150 km range air to air missiles because it does not have AESA radar.

Hence, my question is that either the U.S. upgraded all the sixty Pakistani F-16 with AESA radars so that it can carry a superior 120Km air to air missile or he was acting incorrectly in his view point.

No, AESA upgrade only came in block70/72-V which they won't get. So porkies are trying to acquire some Turkish AESA upgrades which was a backup program for Turkish airforce till recently approved sales.
