This is the dam in the news (Shahpur Kandi Dam). Now follow this river downstream, you will encounter another barrage, diverting flow into irrigation canals. Thereafter, complete dry river onwards to Pakistan. A bit of flow added by Ujh river but that looks muddy & polluted.

ujh river flooded few days ago . that goes into pakistan . need a dam+diversion there too .
