The lC was far hotter from 2000-2003 but you can see SFs had a far superior kill ratio. Why?

Cordons were bigger, Firepower was less restricted, internet was non existent, means of civilian communications were limited and most importantly villagers were oppressed by the "guests" allot which made them snitch on them.

if they were actually OGW , they wouldnt be released or atleast the site where the terrorists used to hole up or some other location would have been revealed. any such news ?

i do think OGW are involved , maybe killed people were too , but so far it looks like pointless collective punishment .



Armoured vehicle would have been useful but the point is compromised intelligence will lead to ambushes when they come out of vehicles.

APC is gonna make them think twice . dont get the logic 'we will get hit anyway so why bother' , but i seen 'experts' say APC is useless here .

Reconnaissance by multiple drones would have helped too. They could send out the drones ahead of the route from one of Army’s command and control APCs to recon and verify the route is safe for units to move and conduct the operation.

Yes, I think every other post from members/senior folks has a sense of frustration and disappointment. No copium/koi gussa nahi memes
However, considering the popularity and viewership of this forum, can someone/mods take this sentiment to be somehow heard to the MoD/Army.
Not sure if MoD is luring around but I think collective opinions and way forward from senior members seem more effective than the think tank of the IA/MoD at the moment (atleast on surface). We don't want to be privy to what is brewing inside but atleast the sentiment should be heard (that Army lives are precious and what has been going on like SOP disregard, non-tech approach, lack of preparedness and poor equipment etc is not acceptable )

doesnt seem like simple case of informers misleading army . seems like locals are definetly involved . army has no clue and arrested a bunch of people from nearby village and beat them up . even if dead are guilty or innocent it will be hidden .
