OkYes.
OkYes.
Is he wrong though? Taking this level of casualties against poorly trained militamen is concerning.Made up story hain saala.
My folks are in Armed Forces.
Paras don't talk in these manner.
Maybe your relative serving in the Paras forgot to use a /r /rant #rant during a drunken stupor.Really? You think I made this up half an hour or so ago?
aiye sir, now is your moment. Is he wrong though? Taking this level of casualties against poorly trained militamen is concerning.
He knows more about the army than the members in here. You stand nowhere close.Maybe your relative serving in the Paras forgot to use a /r /rant #rant during a drunken stupor.
That is totally diferent thing from what he posted here.Is he wrong though? Taking this level of casualties against poorly trained militamen is concerning.
Fair. That is totally diferent thing from what he posted here.
I have seen this pattern here in this thread from few specific members whenever these type of of events occurs.
Heavy losses on both sides.Fair.
While i don’t think we would be butchered or whatever, we will def take heavy losses
When the army cannot provide enough armoured protection for their personnel in a militancy infected region or area. Why? Do they have dearth of bullet-proof armoured vehicles that they had to take a light skinned vehicle? How many times lower rank soldiers would be left dead or maimed for life in such encounters and this isn't even a war! We lost so many brave soldiers and officers because the higher ups don't care that much about the soldiers lives. They are following the same old routine. Also I have noticed that they talk about own casualties as if it was just a minor irritant. "Ah ye sab to hota rehta hai" types. That is totally diferent thing from what he posted here.

We're all sad and frustrated, bhaiIs he wrong though? Taking this level of casualties against poorly trained militamen is concerning.

It hurts a lot when own soldiers suffer with life and injury in something that could have been totally avoidable. Humvees offer a level of protection that a derelict Maruti Gypsy cannot provide yet, soldiers are transported on it through militancy hot areas. We're all sad and frustrated, bhai
But that's the reality of COIN- Americans with their swanky SDRs and Humvees were ambushed in Afghanistan

Quick question. Did they ever suffer multiple officer causalties? or more than 3 kia in a single ambush? We're all sad and frustrated, bhai

What makes you assume they were poorly trained, they planned the ambush to great details, the other contact could have been a ruse .Is he wrong though? Taking this level of casualties against poorly trained militamen is concerning.
Suswagatham shreemanji ! Jab bhi aisa koi durghatna hota hain , aap yahan prakat hote ho theekh utne hi josh ke saath jaise pehle varsha mein mendak.Fair.

Militanrs are nowhere the level of training of a professional military. What makes you assume they were poorly trained, they planned the ambush to great details, the other contact could have been a ruse .
It happened during transportation when everyone is at the highest risk of such ambushes.
Tell that to the Americans who have constituted extra task force due to the houthi attack on shipping lanes.Militanrs are nowhere the level of training of a professional military.
Silver lining.. at least it's not open roof Toyota Hilux of porky army. Right..
At least it needed massive IED , dirty road to hide it , and lotta effort to bring them down.
Humvee would eat up anything apart from 50cal.
All of our soldiers been alive had it been an APC.
