Heermandi Mujeets are targeting BSF personal because of their lack of Heavy artillery and other sophisticated weapon systems which can be used to retaliate back against these attacks with Unlike Army will respond back by attacking with ATGMs, Heavy mortar and 155mm Artillery shells on the mujeets hidey holes and annihilating them. BSF needs to be equipped with heavier artillery and other sophisticated equipment.
Many countries around the world with heavily militarised border with either a Law enforcement Agency or Paramilitary Force on the border equip there forces with heavy sophisticated equipment and military level training to act as first responders in case of an attack by enemy or there is attack conducted on the borderline by a non-state actor. We can take ongoing war in Ukraine as example which showed the power of Paramilitary units on the battlefield. Bharat needs to do the same with all border protection and internal security law enforcement agencies.
