Don't we have shelters and bunkers for border towns near IB?
Don't we have shelters and bunkers for border towns near IB?
India must stop pakistan from helping palestine . LOL
Most to all Russian assets are serviceable & repairable domestically. Don't want to drill down at each equipment level but except for the latest subsystems (S400, latest UPG systems like jammers, etc.) all can be repaired within India. The reason we have been hogging MRO facilities for such a long time.I have just stated facts .....
This is a forum for discussion....
Neither I an expert nor a veteran
1.The backbone of iaf ,su 30 ,270 in numbers, mig 29 upg ....are Russian
2. The back bone of ia , t90 ,t72 , BMP 2 are Russian
3. The backbone of navy ,ins vikramadity, other ships are Russian
4. The backbone of air defence S400 Russian, buk Russian, igla manpad Russian ,strela Russian ,tungska Russian....
Then
1. Mrsam , spyder qrsam isarel
2. The surveillance drones ,heron isarel
You need lots of subsystem s for maintaining of the above systems......
We do. But people will prefer to run away instead of hunker down in bunkers if possible.Don't we have shelters and bunkers for border towns near IB?
LoL, almost all the Russian systems have been indigenized and their maintenance and overhauling happens within India itself with little to no Russian involvement.I have just stated facts .....

Still some subsystem s are there which are coming from Russia......LoL, almost all the Russian systems have been indigenized and their maintenance and overhauling happens within India itself with little to no Russian involvement.
The entire Su30 upgrade program is being carried out without any Russian involvement.
Same is the case for the Heron surveillance drones and the Spyder QRSAM, MRSAM.
KRAS is involved in the MRO for Sypder SAM and MRSAM.
That was my opinion you can have yours idk about the rate of production rn but I know in a conflict we have the potential to fullfill our needs when pressed in a corner we show our best that was my point.Congratulations u wrote a self convincing note.
Now plz tell the rate of production of 155mm Artillery shells in India? per week/per month?
Not really govs fault that army is addicted to foreign maal but in there defence rn we have found Alternative to everything we bought in last emergency purchase from suicide drones to winter clothing to helmets we now even have good pcs the only thing I remember we don't have current replacement is shoulder mounted atgms (ours are not in production). Then why with slightest of tensions of borders anytime in past 15 yrs... GOI goes on an emergency purchases spree... sending "empowered" teams abroad for on spot purchases.
WASHINGTON — The U.S. Army said it awarded $1.5 billion in contracts to nine companies in the U.S., Canada, India and Poland to boost global production of 155mm artillery rounds.
The Ministry of Defence (MoD) has recently selected five domestic ammunition manufacturers to supply around two thousand 155mm terminally guided munitions (TGMs) for the Army's in-service 155mm guns of 39/45/52 calibre artillery guns.
The 155mm TGM is the most advanced artillery ammunition and its technology was denied to India in the past.
Each indigenously made-in-India 155mm TGM projectile would cost around Rs.80 Lac which is expected to be the most advanced and cheapest globally. Typically, a western and Russian TGM projectile costs just double while the US-made artillery ammunition costs three times more.
Is it a matter of time before this entire ceasefire agreement thingy collapses? What do you think?Seems Pak Rangers stopped firing after we retaliated with full force. Seems like the work of some trigger-happy local commander instead of planned action.
whenever a political personality enters they do this, could be related to nawaz sharif reentry into pak.Is it a matter of time before this entire ceasefire agreement thingy collapses? What do you think?
It seems like an attempt to create pressure to accept Nawaz Sharif's offers to be biraders. Since the attack on Pathankot, India had slowly started to snub Porki diplomacy and by the time Article 370 was repealed, it became clear that this government doesn't give a shit about whichever inbred mongrel held power in Porkidesh. It seems like the Chinese influence has penetrated deep enough within Porki elite to adopt the philosophy of "Appear strong when you are weak".Is it a matter of time before this entire ceasefire agreement thingy collapses? What do you think?
It is an obvious outcome. Pakistan cannot adhere to a ceasefire, it must be in a constant state of conflict to exist. Muslims, by definition, cannot tolerate peace & prosperity, they must be fighting "something". If they don't get an enemy, they end up killing themselves. Is it a matter of time before this entire ceasefire agreement thingy collapses? What do you think?
ISPR should show the drone that intruded. Also CFV over a drone shot down seems an overreaction unless the drone was shot down when it was within our territory.so ceasefire held for 2 years and now is broken

Alarm in border areas after ‘heavy Indian firing’
Firing began after a drone attempted to intrude into Pakistani territory, which was shot down by Pakistani forces, military sources say.www.dawn.com
pakistani version for yesterday : indian drone shot down , and we started shelling - they gave "befitting reply"
