With some family and friends in services, those that are looking for condolences or getting sensitive about loses is nonsense. Soldiers, police and paramilitary are expected to walk into situations that are less than ideal at the risk of life....sensitive to casualities in an extreme way is not good for the country. Do not sign up if you or your family does not understand this basic assumption. Modiji has few good ones and lot of idiots like Rajnath in his team...if there are training issues and false bravado culture and WW1 level tactics then its on IA and its leaders all the way to DM to fix it in normal times. Many idiots on this DFI forum defend Modiji for his teams impotent and callous attitude towards what happened in West Bengal during elections and his lack of will to enforce basic existing laws in the event of state not doing its job. These lives are no different from Army or any one else...too much bs ceremonial culture exists in our armed forces and colonial mindset in officer level from recruitment to NDA to drinking alcohol to their social club nonsense and traditions and not to mention the spouses of senior officers....slowly changing but rot is very deep. Defence ministers are a joke generally speaking....officers do need to lead from front in army including senior levels. No need for middle layer management similar to IT. They need to feel the heat too.....Above all the action plan the least the berieved family and the soldiers fighting there expect a condolence message from PM, which has been due for long time
