What Pak wants is atmosphere like this to sustain in Kashmir. What they want is India to light up LoC and kashmir, either side of LoC is occupied in actions. As this continues, slowly the question of what removal of 370 achieved will be raised by their brothers in Indian opposition and media. Inorder to defeat the purpose of Article 370 removal and normalcy and the economic investment plans of India in Kashmir, they need the IA and CRPF to be in permanent CI and 'revenge' mode.
I think New Delhi is smart enough to see through this. It will be interesting to wait and see how they plan to respond to this. For everyone here wanting Modi to declare war on Pakistan or open the front are tactically brilliant (maybe) but strategically stupid. Just like our neighbour

Ending the viability of Pakshitstan as a country is the best thing to do now. Do everything possible - economic, diplomatic, financial, intelligence operations etc to break and make it an unviable state not even capable of setting up relations with their slavemaster China.
