Yes this is the argument which is been discussed by me and few other members, barring the few others who are spewing emotional nonsense.
the argument was against 'being used as canon fodder by generals' sentence...

Don't mistake it for lack for concern or empathy for soldiers who lost their lives.
Go and check any military tackling insurgency, casualties are expected.
Does not mean they are canon fodder.

20 in only three different incidents
This is the worrying part. Not the frequency but the effectiveness of the attacks, >3 KIA in any attack generally means a tactical failure and someone has fked up. In Poonch the ROP clearly didn’t do their job and an unarmoured supply vehicle was being used as a patrol vehicle. Here an IED was somehow not detected/expected and was able to take out almost an entire SF team AFTER they walked themselves into an ambush.

yes ultimately GOI is failing at the strategic level but these tactical screwups keep happening again and again and that can’t be excused this long into the game. What lessons are ever learned?

Calling the casualties as cannon fodder maybe due to frustration out of no lessons being learnt and no genrol heads rolling for the fek ups.
IAF had the decency to take even nominal action after Pathankot against base leadership. What general has ever been held to account for the IA’s numerous tactical blunders over the years?

+IAF also has taken action against officers responsible for the 17V5 fratricide incident.

I have to wake from my slumber to write this down here.
I mean it's disappointing to see that IA has to still micromanage this out.
Going after a rabbit hole chase. Then losing men, causalities increasing.
Then NE is burning, then Naxals doing shitstorm.

Something is off men. Something is way off.
Drone searching has its limits, IR cameras would've helped. Much better, on top of a heli.

10 IA soldiers killed in two encounters alone was the same as the entire number killed last year

Let’s look at the following:

- in both Poonch and Rajouri, the terrorists knew the exact terrain and hiding places deeply. They knew where to hide, how to position, lay ambush etc. This takes months of roaming around and being supported by locals.
- sniper rifles, sticky IEDs, enough ammo, navigation aids for jungle warfare etc - they came with complete tech and not just your usual south Punjabi cannon fodder with dry fruits and AK47s. This means this tech was smuggled in by local mules and the terrorists crossed over later. Months of planning. Not your usual mullah-led terrorists

These are either Porki Army special forces disguised as terrorists or trained by them to renew terrorism in Jammu forward areas which have been pro india for a long time.

These would be my response:
1. Officially declare Porki land a terror sponsoring nation.
2. BCCI must cut off funding to PCB. 80% of ICC revenues come from BCCI. Hit where it hurts. Tell ICC no chance of playing Porkies even in multilateral tournaments as the Indian parliament has declared them an enemy of the state.
3. All Indians must be told the consequences of dealing with a declared enemy of the state.
4. Impose penalties/taxes on companies that do business in India which have a presence in porkiland.
5. Time for full demographic change in Rajouri, Poonch areas. Bring in massive development. Build modern border villages, mountain roads, etc.
6. Open up on Muzaffarabad directly. Target Mangla dam. Start process of revoking IWT.
7. Send in indian special forces for regular clean up within PoK. Launch pads should never be allowed to function.
8. Put Amit Shah and Rajnath Singh back on party duty and get ministers that can act decisively in the home and defense areas. Under Amit Shah, violence is flaring up too much. And he is nowhere to be seen. Similarly kadi nindha is nowhere to be seen.
9. These are not your regular biriyani eating poverty stricken fidayeen. So declare that this is an act of war by porkiland. Block shipping lanes to reduce fuel supply.
10. Put them back on FATF so IMF can get out of there.

We can really hit them hard on the financial and logistics front. All are doable. Foreign policy gaaliyan by Jaishankar is not enough. Porkis have a thick skin.

Do we have the balls to do it? That is another matter.
Bhai bahut kuch maang liya hai. Govt wale too behosh hoon jayenge.

Like I said, the effectiveness of the attacks this late in the day is shocking and something to be concerned about. It means there are glaring holes in the SOPs and basic tactics employed by the security forces that can be exploited nearly at will by the terrorists

Mentioned in the SF thread but I also cannot shake the feeling that even now there are lives being lost because of IA’s indifference to combat medicine. I hope I’m wrong and all these brave men went instantly.

Ok so grounding is only for IA
The fact that last time the IA didn’t ground means this isn’t a fleet wide issue

IN/ICG crashes were because of maintenance failures,ALH is a mature product so all those throwing it under the bus all of a sudden need to articulate how it has crossed 500,000 fleet hours with such a decent safety record only for it to suddenly become a liability.

let them figure it out and all users be updated

I'm pretty sure this paki was circumcised, no way paki qaum would tolerate existence of a Sikh for this long without lynching or murdering him, or they just did.

What a nation of incompetent and corrupt people with no self respect ar all..A failed state slapping us at will and making us feel measurable. They are planning attack in their own soil with impunity and fighting in foreign soil and making the opponent spilling blood in their own soil. One thing is sure by now no reaction will come from government unless its big spectacular attack like pulwama and huge public outrage. Ninda mama will fire ninda missiles and bol Bachchan generals bravado of taking back PoK. Ek target killing nahi kar skte PoK ke andar pura PoK wapas layenge. This whole monkey business will stop at a second if there is sustained target elimination of these terror chiefs and families of retired Punjabi gernails inside PoK using expandable assets. But the west appeasing thick skinned netas and over qualified babus will stay by the rule book. While we are taking satisfaction in the fact that BLA has killed some salwar wearing lowlife Police and rangers in Balochistan lol, Ho gaya badla hahaha Absolutely no lessons was learnt during the same type of attack in 2020. It seems the terrorists are capable enough to pull off Uri like attack again even bigger than that, the Porkies have stopped them fearing outrage in India and government forced to do escalation

Don't worry we will start talking about stopping water to Pakistan.. as elections near..
Stopping smuggling.. If US CANT STOP drug smuggling from Mexico.. India can't either.. We can only reduce it.
Isn't it somewhat an open secret that CIA has been involved in drug trafficking for long time? Their war on drugs is just an illusion to also cover up arms trafficking into Latin America. It has been a strategy to indirectly intervene and control the local population.

Yeah this was the video which we weren't sharing
Basically after the crash the pilot refused first aid bcoz he was angry
There are deep issues in alh
I support indigenous equipments but if there is some severe problem we have deal with them can't always shout import lobby
Thankfully they have been grounded again and will be checked again
We lost one technician
What if it is poor maintenance?
