On the other hand pakistan is facing hundreds of casualties on the Af-Pak region, we're slaughtering terrorists day in and day out with almost no or few casualties. Debatable. Look at Pakistan itself. It is being consumed by jihadi elements and falling apart. There's a saying that it is no cure if the cure is worse than the virus itself. So their strategy which initially works against India is backfiring against Pakistan big time and is fatally hurting Pakistan whereas the injuries imposed on India, although grievous and reprehensible, is not fatal to India. We just have to outlast Pakistan and Pakistan will fall apart in the next several decades despite any amount of intervention by foreign powers.

No US occupying Pakistan like Iraq is a very good thing for US. US will be asking India for support and India should provide it in return for military support against China. US will help India solve its security issues in exchange for needed manpower. US will be forced to work with India and accommodate India's needs on a massive scale.

No US will not be ordering India around. US does not have the manpower to take on Pakistan and hold it. It will need India and that gives India leverage. Get real.

Barely, they caused losses to the IA, but they suffered horrible losses in return. Not to mention the state of their country.
