S-400 has already proven it's worth by shooting down an SU-27 from more than 140 kms. In a full fledged war between Pakistan and India, PAF jets like F-16s, JF-17s and Mirages will be easily knocked out of the sky. S-400 is a very good & effective ADS in my opinion.

In a full scale war, India should fire Salvos of Brahmos and other weopons like SAAWs at PAF Bases which come under the effective range of these weopons and render them non operational.

In Russia-Ukraine war, Russia used this same tactic by firing several cruise missiles at Ukrainian airports and destroyed many fighters of the UAF which were present on the airfields.

Be it 1948, 62( September)65 ( In Sept) 71 ( December)
99 ( July, August time)
I wonder why , although chanakya too says in arthashastra that best time to fight a war is just before onset of winter and cessation of rains.
Looks like somethings remain constant throughout the ages @Kumaoni. @Tactical Doge

I agree, it is part of thta environment but believe me living in sweltering heat is way more difficult than doing the same in winter.
The blizzard eventually ends, but the temperature of huge plains of india don't change for months
