In Himachal I have heard stories from locals about Israeli tourists camping in uninhabited high altitude jungles for months on time, where no tourist goes.

Same story when I visited the Andaman Islands.
I am trying to remember what the story was when i visited Sikkim and later Tawang/ Bum-La pass.

Personally I don't think they are there to enjoy the scenery, or certain intoxicating shrubbery.
They're hiding out from the mandatory military service.

Aren't these becoming too frequent?

Indian Air force evacuates an Israeli national, Atar Kahana from Nimaling Camp near Markha Valley in Ladakh. He was suffering from high altitude sickness, including vomiting and low oxygen saturation.

Ladakh has seen an unprecedented increase in tourism in the last 2 years, fuelled by better infrastructure and connectivity, and of course, hype. Foreigners are very enthusiastic to partake in Ladakh bike rides and trekking and experience the Tibetan cold desert, which is not so easy from the Chinese side due to restrictions.

Why won't AESA benefit WLRs, It is replacing PESA/mechanical scan radars in all applications? And if I'm not wrong there was a new one in development in India by Astra systems.

Sooner or later Chinese military tech is going to get good (if it's not already), and we'll be back in the 80's etc. like scenario when sugar daddy uncle gives them a shitload of equipment like F-16s and we were left scrambling. While every procurement/development of ours remains torturous delivering equipment years late, if at all. So I'm not convinced that we can wave off the Paki military threat as others may be.
they somehow already got their other sugar daddy to give them the akinci armed drone .

i think they will get a few free 5th gen export stealth jets from China too once they become available.

wouldnt be surprised if they get one before we induct AMCA.

Don’t think so. Israelis have loved Indian hilly areas and they travel frequently, some even used to come to J&K to travel until the Jihadi insurgency began in earky 1990s, some Israeli tourists were also kidnapped by those Paki terrorists but they being ex-soldiers were able to set themselves free. Today they love visiting Himachal and Ladakh and in future North East areas also coz they have some jewish history as well and are hilly areas as well.

Also remember Americunt media even then used to call those Paki jihadi terrorists as “Kashmir rebels”.

Karma for pissraeli involvement in Mujahideen training.

Anyway, it’s often nice and interesting though. Russians seem to Love Vashisht and Goa, while Israelis love Manali, Jammu, and Himachal Pradesh.

Despite their hostilities, both countries are reported to have directorates to deal with each other at an intelligence level.[37] The history of IsraeliPakistani intelligence cooperation dates back to at least the early 1980s, when Pakistani President Muhammad Zia-ul-Haq directed the Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) to establish contact with Israel's Mossad.[38] Intelligence offices were set up at both countries' embassies in Washington, where the ISI, MI6, CIA and Mossad ran a decade-long anti-Soviet operation in Afghanistan, codenamed Operation Cyclone.[39] During this operation, Israel supplied Soviet-made weaponry (seized from Palestinian militants) to the Afghan mujahideen, who were waging guerrilla warfare against the Soviet military following its invasion of Afghanistan. Pakistan and Israel cooperated very closely during the entirety of the conflict and the Pakistani military—which was covertly engaging Soviet aircraft (by posing as an Afghan rebel force) and providing the mujahideen with funds and weapons—received a generous amount of Israeli armaments and aid as a result.[39]

On September 1st 1965, Pakistan launched operation Grandslam. One squadron and two infantry battalions (15 Kumaon and 6 Sikh LI) met the attack by two Pakistani brigades which were heading to Akhnur, and two tank regiments (6 tank squadrons)

Outnunbered 6:1, the 15 Kumaon successfully checked Paks 13 Lancers from the North while the squadron of 20 lancers checked 11 Cavalry from the south.

The single squadron of 20 landers managed to take out at least 13 tanks, up to 19 tanks of Paks 11 cavalry. It was outnumbered 6:1 but took a heavy toll on the enemy inflicting losses of 19 killed and many more wounded (as per Pakistani sources themselves).

PESA & Mechanical/Pulse-doppler is not the same. Scan speed is the same for both AESA and PESA, the only advantage of AESA is individual frequency-hopping characteristics, which allows AESA to scan at multiple frequencies simultaneously.

So now tell me, how will it benefit a WLR? For A2A radar, it is understandable, as it can evade detection, reduce jamming, and lock on multiple targets at the same time.

Kindly don't be fascinated by complex jargons.

Hmm… so the Pakis got AESA weapon locating radars from the Chinese while we started inducting older tech PESA Swati radar (delayed by obligatory summer, winter… mom, mars trials etc) a just few years back :dude:.
It cant be said with full confidence that China possesses AESA MM radars, so question of giving them to Pakistan doesn't arises.
