It's timing is interesting considering there were reports of protests in Nepal about bringing back the monarchy assuming we backed those protests China played its game by backing Oli to go full dictator, that's one possible reason...

There is no coalition parties, there's the main nepali commie party and two factions in it, one has Prachanda and the other has chOli.
It's a power struggle within the party.

money cannot buy you the long term dirt secrets of people. most nepali politicians have made a good amount of investment in India in the real estate sector a threat of few IT raids will shake them back to senses.
