But the mega floods happen every year anyway. I remember reading that mapping of flood prone areas in Assam is being done with the help of ISRO. It's actually Bangladesh which is most at risk. Casualty ratio would be much higher there.

They've trapped themselves by admitting to kidnapping our soldier. This will create a huge PR disaster for Pakistan if they kill him as it will result in massive public pressure on Modi to avenge the death of that soldier.
