Yes true we are afraid of him. Unfortunately, you Indians hate us so much that my statement was instead of being taken as a factual comment but it was taken as an attack on Indians etc, which it was not intended to.

please check the recent economic growth rate figures for bihar. for the past 2-3 years they have been recording double digit growth rate figures, and iirc they had either the highest or the second highest figures for all the states in india for the just gone by fiscal, they have out done everyone.

indian corporates used to never have bihar on their investment radar, but today the state is trying to attract these investments in the rural sector which would directly benefit the average bihari. investments are not only being done in the rural sector but some big ticket investments also are being done in manufacturing sector, along with that there is a big push to make physical infrastructure, like roads, higheays, availability of water, electricity, etc.

biharis used to go to other states for employment, but today with employment opportunities being generated with in their state they prefer working with in their state. if i am not mistaken then one state that has contributed highest numbers to IAS (indian administrative services) and IPS (indian police services) is bihar. check IITs and the case wont be any different.

not so long back bihar seemed to be a case where there was no law and order, but today the older generation feels the safest in the state of bihar of all the states in india. the usual thugs that used to be a norm of the day not so long back are either in the jails today or they have done tauba from crime, policing has seen a big change.

of all the money allocation that the center does to all the states in india, planning commission (the commissioner of which happens to be of the opposing party to one ruling in bihar) has gone on record saying that it best gets utilised in bihar and they are ever ready to pump in more money as the case be.

yes bihar was a troubled state when lalu was the cm of the state and his rule can be termed as a mis-rule and a misfortune for that state and sadly this mis-rule continued for 15long traumatised years which gave bihar such a bad name. but incidentally it was also the same lalu under whom the indian railways today sits on a cash surplus of around rs1,00,000crores or around 20b usd, and this when at the start of this decade a foreign consultancy house had completely written off IR as a burden on exchequer which should have gone bankrupt by now but not anymore where this tremendous transformation is taught as a case study in many internationally reputed management institutions of which our very own IIMs is one.

what you are referring to was true some 3yrs back but since nitesh kuram has taken over its a relic of past and a past best forgotten. :)

I think this is not an interesting fact, in fact India relying on its indigenous car industry for so many years is something you guys should proud of.
